“廉租房”怎么說(shuō)

為了緩解低收入家庭的住房壓力，政府在推出經(jīng)濟(jì)適用房之后，又推出了廉租房。但是，只有一部分城市實(shí)施了廉租房制度，而對(duì)于一些已經(jīng)實(shí)施的城市來(lái)說(shuō)，廉租房的數(shù)量還是太少。

Premier Wen Jiabao pledged at the National People's Congress in March to provide more money to support low-rent housing and increase the availability of affordable housing.
According to official figures, low-rent housing was available in 291 cities at or above the prefecture level as of last year. Such housing will be extended to all cities and towns by the end of this year.
報(bào)道中說(shuō)，溫家寶總理在3月召開(kāi)的人代會(huì)上表示，要拿出更多資金支持廉租房制度，增加經(jīng)濟(jì)適用房的數(shù)量。官方數(shù)據(jù)顯示，去年我國(guó)只有291個(gè)地級(jí)以上城市實(shí)施了廉租房制度，到今年年底，所有城市都將建立廉租房制度。
這里的“l(fā)ow-rent housing”指的就是廉租房。“Housing”是各種房子的統(tǒng)稱，“l(fā)ow”跟“rent”組成合成詞，修飾“housing”。
此外，文中的“affordable housing”指的是經(jīng)濟(jì)適用房，從字面意思看，就是能負(fù)擔(dān)得起的房子。
