Ghost Festival in Taiwan

A Taiwanese man burns offerings at the island's northern port of Keelung to mark the traditional Chinese 'Ghost Festival' August 7, 2006. The festival is traditionally marked on the 15th day of the seventh month of the Chinese Lunar calendar and is meant to appease the spirits of fishermen who have perished at sea over the centuries.
