韋恩?麥克格雷戈?duì)?蘭登舞蹈團(tuán)簡介
舞蹈團(tuán)創(chuàng)立于1992年,擅長在舞蹈中融入動(dòng)漫、數(shù)字電影和三維設(shè)計(jì)等現(xiàn)代科技手段,在藝術(shù)風(fēng)格上完全打破古典芭蕾和現(xiàn)代舞的界限,以傳統(tǒng)芭蕾程式化的高超技巧和當(dāng)代舞的力度把對(duì)舞者身體能力的探索推向極限。在過去的20年里,韋恩?麥克格雷戈?duì)?蘭登舞蹈團(tuán)一直屹立于世界當(dāng)代藝術(shù)最前沿,在英國和世界各地吸引了大批現(xiàn)代舞和芭蕾舞觀眾以及喜愛美術(shù)、音樂和時(shí)尚的人們。

A breathtaking trip through a soundscape created by Jon Hopkins (who has worked with Coldplay and Massive Attack) and award-winning composer Joby Talbot, Entity is a staggering blend of bodies, lights, technology and film that places McGregor at the cutting edge of contemporary culture. Technically astonishing, emotionally uncompromising and hard-hitting, McGregor's work breaks boundaries and defies categorisation.
About Wayne McGregor
Wayne McGregor CBE is a multi award-winning British choreographer, renowned for his physically testing choreography and groundbreaking collaborations across dance, film, music, visual art, technology and science. He is the Artistic Director of Wayne McGregor | Random Dance, Resident Company at Sadler's Wells Theatre in London and Resident Choreographer of The Royal Ballet.
McGregor is a frequent creator of new work for La Scala in Milan, the Paris Opera Ballet, the Nederlands Dans Theater, the Stuttgart Ballet and New York City Ballet, as well as movement director for theatre, film (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) and music video (Radiohead's Lotus Flower). He has recently completed a new work for The Royal Ballet and the large-scale public dance work, Big Dance Trafalgar Square (which took place on 14 July), in celebration of the London 2012 Olympics. He is currently working on a production for the Bolshoi Ballet in April 2013.

About Wayne McGregor | Random Dance
Wayne McGregor | Random Dance was founded in 1992 and became the instrument with which McGregor evolved his drastically fast and articulate choreographic style.
The company became known for its radical approach to new technology and way of incorporating animation, digital film, 3D architecture, electronic sound and virtual dancers into live choreography. In Nemesis (2002), dancers duelled with prosthetic steel arm extensions to a soundtrack that included mobile phone conversations; in AtaXia (2004), McGregor's fellowship with the Experimental Psychology department of Cambridge University fuelled the choreography; in Entity (2008), choreographic agents are imagined in a soundscape; and in FAR (2010), contemporary design is fused with choreography made from a radical cognitive research process.
