Whilst modern development provides a vast array of transformative advantages, a major obstacle eventually cracks the surface of prosperity in every urban centre - unsustainability. Pollution, traffic congestion, over-population, expanding infrastructures and high demand on resources emerge in the maturing of a modern city, and Beijing is no different.

Furthermore, coordinated urban development policies ensure environmental sustainability, whilst simultaneously overcoming and protecting against obstacles to urban development.
通過將北京與天津港口等基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施、河北本地的資源相結(jié)合，將不同地區(qū)的工作機(jī)會(huì)、服務(wù)設(shè)施和人口等進(jìn)行重新分配。使得每一個(gè)地區(qū)都獲得資源的最優(yōu)配置并充分發(fā)揮其區(qū)位優(yōu)勢。目前，很多政府機(jī)構(gòu)和大型企業(yè)已經(jīng)開始在協(xié)調(diào)發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略下，進(jìn)行搬遷和新的布局。
