Reader's question: Year-round residents here look down their noses at the summer people. Could you explain “year-round residents” and “summer people”? This is a non-question, but a good one ^_^. Year-long residents refer to permanent residents, who live in the same place all year round. Summer people are those travelers who visit during summertime and are unfound during other seasons. You guessed it, right? Or could’ve guessed it right, no?
