Queen Elizabeth II is growing fruit and vegetables in the grounds of Buckingham Palace (see photo) for the first time since the World War II, the Daily Mail reported. Onions, leeks, beans, tomatoes, lettuce and potatoes have been planted and the first strawberries have already hit the Royal kitchens. The Queen's produce will feed several hundred palace workers and be served up at formal State banquets.
