An elephant stampede and a tiger attack occurred on Indonesia's Sumatra Island Wednesday morning. An 83-year-old man was trampled to death when 20 wild elephants went on a rampage in Riau province, sending scores of residents fleeing in panic into the jungle (see photo). In a separate attack in neighboring Jambi province, a tiger mauled an illegal logger to death and dragged away his body.
印尼蘇門答臘島4日早上發(fā)生了兩起動物襲擊人的事件。在廖內(nèi)省，20頭大象闖入當(dāng)?shù)匾粋€鄉(xiāng)村并肆意踐踏。一名83歲的老人被大象踩死，驚慌的村民們紛紛逃到森林里(見圖)。在另一起事件中，一名非法伐木者在占碑省遭老虎襲擊。老虎把他咬死后還把他的尸體拖走。
