In order to create a birthday surprise for his partner of 7 years, UK retired firefighter Jeff Brook-Smith, 62, spent a painstaking 4 hours raking the beach near his seaside home. What resulted was an astounding 30m message in the sand, "Happy Birthday Janet! With all my love, Jeff."(See photo)
