People who earn around 6,000 yuan (US$759.25) every month are the happiest group in Beijing, said a survey conducted by the national and Beijing statistics bureaus, Beijing Daily Messenger reported on Oct.13,2006.
The survey, covering 7,118 respondents, showed that people with incomes ranging from 5,000 yuan to 7,000 yuan are the happiest in the city.
People who earn 15,000 yuan to 20,000 yuan a month feel less happy, with their feeling of happiness similar to those who earn 1,000 yuan to 1,499 yuan.
About 31.6 percent of the respondents said their feeling of happiness was above 90 points out of 100 points, and 61.1 percent of the respondents marked their feelings from 60 to 89 points.
As well, people in suburban areas feel happier than those in downtown areas, the surveyed showed.
In another survey conducted onharmonious society, nearly 90 percent of Beijing's residents said the city is harmonious.

這項(xiàng)共有7118人參加的調(diào)查顯示,在北京,月收入在5000元至7000元之間的人最幸福。

31.6%的調(diào)查對(duì)象給自己的幸福感打90分以上,61.1%的人覺(jué)得他們的幸福感在60分至89分之間。
此外,調(diào)查表明,郊區(qū)居民的幸福感要比市區(qū)居民的強(qiáng)。
在另外一項(xiàng)關(guān)于和諧社會(huì)的調(diào)查中近,90%的北京市民認(rèn)為北京是個(gè)和諧的城市。
