閱讀報(bào)刊雜志，我們經(jīng)常會(huì)看到“XX實(shí)現(xiàn)兩位數(shù)增長”，很多人會(huì)問——如何表達(dá)“兩位數(shù)增長”？請(qǐng)看一段我國經(jīng)濟(jì)將在2006年實(shí)現(xiàn)兩位數(shù)增長的相關(guān)報(bào)道。
The Chinese yuan will rise 2 to 8 percent annually in the next five years and the economy will score anotherdouble-digitgrowth in 2006, state media on Sunday cited a study as saying.

報(bào)道中的double-digit就是“兩位數(shù)”，digit指“十個(gè)阿拉伯?dāng)?shù)字符號(hào)從0到9中的任意一個(gè)”，例如：The number 2001 contains four digits.（2001是個(gè)四位數(shù)。）由此，“兩位數(shù)增長”可以表示為a double-digit growth/ a double-digit increase/ to increase by double digits。
另外，順便提一下動(dòng)詞score（實(shí)現(xiàn)），在這里它可用動(dòng)詞achieve來替換，其相應(yīng)的英文解釋是：to achieve a purpose, especially to make a surprising gain（實(shí)現(xiàn)目標(biāo)，尤指取得令人驚奇的成果）。舉個(gè)例子，The Liberals have scored a dramatic victory in this election.（自由黨人在這次選舉中大獲全勝。）
