streaker: 裸奔者
[ 2006-05-26 08:24 ]

The German World Cup organization committee will fine streakers at World Cup Football matches 10,000 euros, in an effort to stamp out such behavior.
Streakers have become a major headache for game organizers. During last year's Federation Cup Frankfurt, Germany, several streakers made it onto the field.
有時,人們也常用短語like a streak(of lightning)來形容“迅速地,風(fēng)馳電掣般地”,如:He disappeared round the corner like a streak of lightening.(他一拐彎轉(zhuǎn)眼就不見了。)
She had a long streak of bad luck.(她遭遇了一連串的不幸。)
There is a streak of cruelty in his character.(他的性情有些殘酷。)
