被稱為城市“牛皮癬”的街頭小廣告真有點讓您“應接不暇”，在公交車站牌前、在電線桿上、甚至是在本應清潔美麗的地面上，您到處都可發(fā)現這種嚴重破壞城市形象的街頭小廣告。這不，瞧這幅大煞風景的圖片，本已超負荷的大地真得要哭泣了。

附在圖片說明中的bill sticker就是我們甚為熟悉、甚為反感的“打貼小廣告的人”，有時可單獨寫做“sticker”。Sticker源于動詞stick（粘；貼），在這里顯然是指“張貼廣告的人”；Bill除用來形容我們常見的“議案；法案；賬單”外，也可指“an advertising poster”（廣告?zhèn)鲉危?，或用作動詞“登廣告”，如：Lewis was billed to appear as Hamlet.（據海報載，哈姆雷特由劉易斯扮演。）
另外，sticker也可用來形容“堅持不懈的人”或“久呆不走的客人”，舉兩個例子：
He may not be a man of ability, but he is a firm sticker.（他雖然沒有多大本領，但他堅韌不拔。）
Mother says she doesn't want any sticker in the house.（媽媽說家里不要有久坐不走的客人。）
