美國的阿羅史密斯夫婦6月1日才剛慶祝了他們的80周年結(jié)婚紀(jì)念日，創(chuàng)造了現(xiàn)今在世的夫婦中結(jié)婚時間最長的世界記錄。但天有不測風(fēng)云，丈夫珀西阿羅史密斯卻在兩周后的6月15日逝世，享年105歲。外電報道如下：Percy Arrowsmith, who with his wife set the record two weeks ago for the world's longest marriage, died Wednesday, his wife of 80 years by his side. He was 105.
Arrowsmith died at his home in Hereford, northwest of London, his bishop said.
Arrowsmith and his 100-year-old wife, Florence, celebrated their 80th wedding anniversary and a place in the Guinness Book of World Records on June 1.
"Percy and Flo were very happy when I saw them on their anniversary," said the Rev. Anthony Priddis, bishop of Hereford. "They were still very much in love with each other."

據(jù)悉，結(jié)婚紀(jì)念日那天，英女王伊利莎白都曾親自為這對長壽夫婦送上祝福卡片。而這對夫妻表示，長久婚姻的秘密是不要把爭執(zhí)拖到明天，在睡覺之前牽對方的手，并且送上一個吻。
