Men in Red
If you want to attract a woman’s attention, wear red. That’s the result of a new survey of women in China, the US, England and Germany. The findings were published in the Journal of Experimental Psychology said women found men more sexually attractive in red than when wearing other colors. Maybe it’s not about being sexy, but about all those presents handed out each year at Christmas by a certain man in red.
Man in Blue
In Shanghai, it’s the man in blue who's attracted all the attention at the 2010 World Expo under way in Shanghai. There’s so much to do, and so much to see. Let’s go Expo! Yes, you’ll find the World Expo mascot just about everywhere inside the Expo. And he’s showing up in parks, in toy stores and even shoe stores. My favorite is a department store display of shoes, shaped just like Haibao.
Smart Toilets

We’ve got smart toilets in China, too. But what do people really think about these smart toilets? The Week investigates …
Air Play
This week, all the attention was on Finland and the winner of the annual Air Guitar World Championships. You don’t play a real guitar; you just pretend to play one. A Frenchman who calls himself Gunther Love won the contest for the second year in a row, belting out rock tunes with his imaginary guitar. Our own correspondent, Chris Clark, has won a few living room championships playing air guitar. Chris, show us how it’s done.
