現(xiàn)代的飲食和生活方式發(fā)生了翻天覆地的變化,而人類卻似乎還沒有在身心上適應(yīng)這種變化,于是各種健康問題接踵而至,也許我們真的可以嘗試一些原始的飲食和生活方式。
For most people, “going Paleo” starts in the kitchen.
對(duì)于大部分人來說,“回歸史前生活”從廚房開始。
Eating a Paleo diet involves consuming lots of lean meat, as well as eggs, fruits, some nuts, seeds and vegetables—basically, the kinds of foods humans were forced to subsist on for most of history. Dairy, grains, beans and all other foodstuffs unavailable in cave-dwelling days are verboten. So are foods with added hormones and artificial additives like processed sugars.
“史前飲食”是指吃大量瘦肉、雞蛋、水果,還有一些堅(jiān)果、籽實(shí)和蔬菜——基本上就是人類在歷史上大部分的時(shí)間都賴以生存的食物。至于在穴居時(shí)代還未出現(xiàn)的奶制品、谷物、豆類等食物便是不許吃的,同樣排除在外的還有含激素的食物以及如精制糖這樣的人工添加物。
Naysayers of the Paleo diet point out that the diet is expensive, difficult and probably not sustainable.
“史前飲食”的反對(duì)者指出這種飲食成本高、獲得難,或許可持續(xù)性也不強(qiáng)。
But what does the research show? Several comparative studies have found that the Paleo diets helped in losing weight faster, improve body composition and lowering both blood pressure and blood sugar scores, besides, triglycerides—a type of blood fat that raises your risk for heart disease—plummeted among the Paleo dieters.
那么研究結(jié)果又是怎么說的?一些研究通過比較發(fā)現(xiàn)“史前飲食”可以幫助人們更快地減肥、提高身體素質(zhì)和降低血壓、血糖指標(biāo),除此之外,甘油三酯(一種增大患心臟病風(fēng)險(xiǎn)的血脂)在“史前飲食者”的體內(nèi)也會(huì)相應(yīng)地減少。
