US researchers have developed a microneedle skin patch (see photo) they claim can be stuck painlessly onto the skin by patients themselves. The less than 2cm-long patch bears some 50 microneedles, which can be coated with medicine or vaccine. Scientists believe the patches can effectively prevent some diseases if widely used.
美國研究人員最近研發(fā)出一種微針頭貼片(見圖)，號稱打針不會痛。在一塊不到2厘米長的貼片上，有50個微小的針頭，每個針頭上都可黏附藥劑或疫苗。病人無需專門培訓(xùn)即可自行注射。有科學(xué)家認(rèn)為，如果廣泛使用，將可有效預(yù)防某些疾病的發(fā)生。
