全球最高“摩天輪”北京破土

大家都喜歡坐摩天輪，觀賞城市景色，用不了多久，北京也將建成自己的摩天輪，那么“摩天輪”怎么說呢？

Beijing started to build the world's largest Ferris wheel, hoping to offer tourists a bird's-eye view of the city.
The Great Ferris, being built in Chaoyang Park of eastern Beijing, will stand 208 meters high to commemorate the 2008 Olympic Games, to be held in the Chinese capital next August.
全球最高摩天輪日前在北京朝陽公園正式破土動工，以紀念明年8月在北京舉行的奧運會。高達208米的摩天輪建成后將成為北京又一標志性的觀景旅游建筑。
摩天輪即 “Ferris wheel”；標志性建筑（摩天輪）“the landmark wheel”；（摩天輪的）轎廂“compartments”。
