現(xiàn)在，越來越多的人直接購買充值卡給手機充值，以免去到電訊或移動營業(yè)窗排隊繳費的麻煩。一張面值50元的充值卡如何用英文來表達？看外電一段相關(guān)報道：

報道說，在（伊拉克）這個毫無樂趣的城市，發(fā)短信成了當(dāng)?shù)啬贻p人用來調(diào)節(jié)生活的流行時尚。阿布杜勒·卡里姆在和女朋友分手之前，每個月要買面值50美元的充值卡來發(fā)“我想你”短信。
由報道可知，“手機充值卡”可用“prepaid phone card”來表達，如果想具體表明“充值卡面值多少”，可依據(jù)具體情況相應(yīng)寫成“(money) worth of prepaid phone card”。
此外，在表達“給手機充值”時，請注意國內(nèi)部分譯者對“recharge”一詞的誤用。“Recharge”表示“使充（滿）”時，指的是“給……再充電”，尤指“給貯能電池再充電”。
曾詢問過外國朋友，其實“（給手機）充值”可用最簡單的動詞“put”，如：I don't have any money left on my phone. I have to put 100 yuan on it.（我手機沒錢了，得去給手機充100元。） 或者，動詞“transfer”也可表示“充值”，如：I need to transfer/put money into my account.
順便再提一下“給手機充電”，“充電”常用動詞“charge”，如：I need to charge my cell phone.（我得給手機充下電。）
