Women dance with five-year old children on their shoulders during the "Coca" celebration in Redondela, rural northeastern Spain June 18, 2006. The tradition of dancing with daughters on their shoulders takes its origins from a local legend believed to date from the Middle Ages, where two women were saved from a dragon by dancing with their daughters on their shoulders. The children are dressed in traditional costumes called "Penlas". (Reuters)
