In the eye of the storm 暴風(fēng)之眼
Although this phrase is used to describe being at the centre of a problem or dispute, the real 'eye' of a storm is very calm. The eye - a circular area in the middle of a hurricane, which can be up to 65km in diameter - is characterised by light winds and clear skies, which last for a short period before the strong winds, rain and thunder return.
