There’s no doubt that people in the UK have been hit hard since the economic slowdown started in 2008.
The dreaded R-word – recession – is heard very frequently as every day seems to bring more gloomy economic news. Factories have closed, unemployment is rising and house prices have fallen.
In this tough time, how are people coping with the recession and what changes have people made in their lives? Yang Li and Helen find out from a couple of Londoners.
