Steve D'Shawn Francis (born February 21, 1977 in Silver Spring, Maryland, US) is an American professional basketball player for the Houston Rockets of the NBA. Nicknamed "The Franchise" and self-described as "Steve-O", with his on-court and off-court antics generating considerable controversy throughout his career. He is known for his crossover dribble (左右手交換運球), driving ability (運球能力), and flashy dunks (花式扣籃).

On June 29, 2004, Francis was traded to the Orlando Magic (奧蘭多魔術隊) along with Cuttino Mobley and Kelvin Cato in a seven-player deal that sent Tracy McGrady, Juwan Howard, Tyronn Lue, and Reece Gaines to Houston.

On 22 February, one day before the NBA's trade deadline, Steve Francis was traded to the New York Knicks for small forward (小前鋒) Trevor Ariza and the expiring contract of shooting guard (得分后衛(wèi)) Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway. 2月26日，他第一次代表尼克斯隊出戰(zhàn)，拿下16分，但是球隊以90比94輸給了新澤西網(wǎng)隊。
On 2007 draft night, June 28, the Knicks traded Francis plus Channing Frye to the Portland Trail Blazers (波特蘭開拓者隊) for Zach Randolph, Dan Dickau, and Fred Jones. On July 10, the Trail Blazers bought out (買斷) the remaining two years of Francis's contract for a reported $30 million, making him an unrestricted free agent (自由球員).
2007年7月20號，F(xiàn)rancis 重和休斯頓火箭隊簽約，仍穿3號球衣。
