11月1日，中國（新疆）自由貿(mào)易試驗區(qū)揭牌儀式在新疆維吾爾自治區(qū)烏魯木齊市舉行，標(biāo)志著新疆自貿(mào)試驗區(qū)建設(shè)全面啟動。該自貿(mào)試驗區(qū)是我國西北沿邊地區(qū)首個自由貿(mào)易試驗區(qū)。

The Xinjiang Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ), the first in China's northwestern border regions, officially started operations on Wednesday. An unveiling ceremony for the FTZ was held in Urumqi, the regional capital city.

中國（新疆）自由貿(mào)易試驗區(qū)實施范圍179.66平方公里，涵蓋烏魯木齊片區(qū)134.6平方公里（含新疆生產(chǎn)建設(shè)兵團(tuán)第十二師30.8平方公里，烏魯木齊綜合保稅區(qū)2.41平方公里），喀什片區(qū)28.48平方公里（含新疆生產(chǎn)建設(shè)兵團(tuán)第三師3.81平方公里，喀什綜合保稅區(qū)3.56平方公里），霍爾果斯片區(qū)16.58平方公里（含新疆生產(chǎn)建設(shè)兵團(tuán)第四師1.95平方公里，霍爾果斯綜合保稅區(qū)3.61平方公里）。

據(jù)介紹，未來，新疆將立足資源稟賦、區(qū)位優(yōu)勢和產(chǎn)業(yè)基礎(chǔ)，高標(biāo)準(zhǔn)高質(zhì)量推進(jìn)中國（新疆）自由貿(mào)易試驗區(qū)建設(shè)，將其打造成思想解放先行區(qū)、制度創(chuàng)新試驗田、產(chǎn)業(yè)集聚增長極、擴大開放新高地、營商環(huán)境樣板區(qū)，經(jīng)過3至5年改革探索，把中國（新疆）自由貿(mào)易試驗區(qū)建設(shè)成為營商環(huán)境優(yōu)良、投資貿(mào)易便利、優(yōu)勢產(chǎn)業(yè)聚集、要素資源共享、管理協(xié)同高效、輻射帶動作用突出的高標(biāo)準(zhǔn)高質(zhì)量自由貿(mào)易園區(qū)，為新疆融入國內(nèi)國際雙循環(huán)，服務(wù)“一帶一路”核心區(qū)建設(shè)，助力創(chuàng)建亞歐黃金通道和我國向西開放橋頭堡作出積極貢獻(xiàn)。

To enable pilot FTZs to better play an exemplary role, it is essential for them to uphold overall Party leadership, pursue high-level opening up as the guidance and institutional innovation as the core, coordinate development and security, align domestic rules with international economic and trade rules by high standards, further promote institutional opening-up, strengthen overall planning and systematic integration of reform, and promote innovative development of the entire industrial chain.
