新華社北京9月12日電 中共中央總書記、國家主席、中央軍委主席習(xí)近平9月11日給紅其拉甫海關(guān)全體關(guān)員回信，對海關(guān)系統(tǒng)干部職工更好履行職責(zé)使命提出殷切期望。

習(xí)近平在回信中說，你們克服高寒缺氧等困難，扎根雪域邊疆的國門一線，忠于職守，默默奉獻，創(chuàng)造了不平凡的業(yè)績，展現(xiàn)了新時代海關(guān)人奮發(fā)有為的精神風(fēng)貌。今年是海關(guān)關(guān)銜制度實行20周年，借此機會向海關(guān)系統(tǒng)全體同志致以誠摯的問候！

習(xí)近平強調(diào)，海關(guān)擔負著守國門、促發(fā)展的職責(zé)使命，做好海關(guān)工作意義重大。希望同志們胸懷“國之大者”，弘揚海關(guān)隊伍的優(yōu)良作風(fēng)，提高監(jiān)管效能和服務(wù)水平，筑牢國門安全屏障，助推高質(zhì)量發(fā)展、高水平開放，當好讓黨放心、讓人民滿意的國門衛(wèi)士，為強國建設(shè)、民族復(fù)興積極貢獻力量。

紅其拉甫海關(guān)地處被稱為“生命禁區(qū)”的帕米爾高原，所在口岸是我國與巴基斯坦唯一陸路進出境通道。2005年，紅其拉甫海關(guān)被國務(wù)院授予“艱苦奮斗模范海關(guān)”榮譽稱號，今年被評為全國海關(guān)系統(tǒng)先進集體。在海關(guān)關(guān)銜制度實行20周年之際，紅其拉甫海關(guān)全體關(guān)員給習(xí)近平總書記寫信，匯報接續(xù)守衛(wèi)國門、服務(wù)發(fā)展的情況，表達為推進中國式現(xiàn)代化貢獻力量的決心。

Xi replies to letter from customs workers

President Xi Jinping has called on customs workers in China to uphold fine conduct and improve supervision and services to serve the country's high-quality development and high-level opening up.

Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks on Monday in a letter replying to workers of the Khunjerab Pass, the land port on the China-Pakistan border in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

In his letter, Xi said they have overcome difficulties such as cold temperatures and low oxygen air, and stayed committed to their duties, demonstrating the fine spirit of customs workers in the new era.

As this year marks the 20th anniversary of the implementation of the customs rank system in China, Xi extended sincere greetings to customs workers across the country.

Workers stationed at the Khunjerab Pass recently wrote to Xi, expressing their determination to contribute to advancing Chinese modernization.
