電動車生產(chǎn)商特斯拉9日在上海宣布加碼投資，將在滬新建儲能超級工廠。這座布局“未來賽道”的工廠計劃于2023年第三季度開工，2024年第二季度投產(chǎn)。

US carmaker Tesla Inc. on Sunday announced that it will build a new mega factory in Shanghai, which will be dedicated to manufacturing the company's energy-storage product Megapack.

美國電動車生產(chǎn)商特斯拉4月9日宣布，將在滬新建儲能超級工廠。據(jù)悉，工廠將規(guī)劃生產(chǎn)特斯拉超大型商用儲能電池Megapack。

The new plant is scheduled to break ground in the third quarter of the year and start production in the second quarter of 2024, Tesla said at the project's signing ceremony in Shanghai.

特斯拉在儲能超級工廠簽約儀式上表示，工廠計劃于2023年第三季度開工，2024年第二季度投產(chǎn)。

The factory will initially produce 10,000 Megapack units every year, equal to approximately 40 GWh of energy storage. The products will be sold worldwide. The company's new plant will be located in the Lin-gang Special Area of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone.

工廠初期規(guī)劃年產(chǎn)商用儲能電池1萬臺，儲能規(guī)模近40吉瓦時（GWh）。產(chǎn)品將銷往全球。工廠將建在上海自貿區(qū)臨港新片區(qū)。

Zhuang Mudi, deputy secretary-general of the Shanghai municipal government, said the project will help drive the development of the new energy-storage industry, as well as the green and low-carbon transformation of Shanghai.

上海市政府副秘書長莊木弟說，特斯拉儲能超級工廠項目的落地簽約必將成為推動上海新型儲能產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展和綠色低碳轉型的重要力量。
