15時(shí)10分許，習(xí)近平乘坐的專列徐徐駛?cè)敫哞F香港西九龍站。習(xí)近平和夫人彭麗媛步出車廂，香港特別行政區(qū)行政長(zhǎng)官林鄭月娥和丈夫林兆波上前迎接。歡迎儀式上，香港警察樂(lè)隊(duì)奏響熱情的歡迎曲，充滿精氣神的舞獅歡騰跳躍，數(shù)百名香港青少年和各界群眾代表?yè)]動(dòng)國(guó)旗、特別行政區(qū)區(qū)旗和鮮花，表達(dá)熱烈的歡迎。習(xí)近平和彭麗媛向歡迎的人群揮手致意。

習(xí)近平這次赴港受到海內(nèi)外高度關(guān)注，中外記者在現(xiàn)場(chǎng)等候。習(xí)近平走到采訪區(qū)，向在場(chǎng)記者問(wèn)好。他表示，明天，是香港回歸祖國(guó)25周年慶典日，全國(guó)各族人民將和香港同胞一道慶祝這件喜事。我向香港同胞致以熱烈祝賀和美好祝愿。

習(xí)近平指出，我一直關(guān)注著香港，掛念著香港，我的心和中央政府的心始終同香港同胞在一起。過(guò)去一個(gè)時(shí)期，香港經(jīng)受一次次嚴(yán)峻考驗(yàn)，戰(zhàn)勝一個(gè)個(gè)風(fēng)險(xiǎn)挑戰(zhàn)，歷經(jīng)風(fēng)雨后，香港浴火重生，展現(xiàn)出蓬勃的生機(jī)。事實(shí)證明，“一國(guó)兩制”具有強(qiáng)大生命力，是確保香港長(zhǎng)期繁榮穩(wěn)定、維護(hù)香港同胞福祉的好制度。

習(xí)近平強(qiáng)調(diào)，行而不輟，未來(lái)可期。只要毫不動(dòng)搖堅(jiān)持“一國(guó)兩制”，香港的未來(lái)一定會(huì)更加美好，香港一定能為中華民族偉大復(fù)興作出新的更大貢獻(xiàn)。

中共中央政治局委員、中央書(shū)記處書(shū)記、中央辦公廳主任丁薛祥，中共中央政治局委員、中央軍委副主席許其亮，全國(guó)人大常委會(huì)副委員長(zhǎng)沈躍躍，國(guó)務(wù)委員兼外交部長(zhǎng)王毅，全國(guó)政協(xié)副主席、國(guó)務(wù)院港澳事務(wù)辦公室主任夏寶龍等陪同人員一同抵達(dá)。

全國(guó)政協(xié)副主席梁振英，香港特別行政區(qū)候任行政長(zhǎng)官李家超，香港特別行政區(qū)終審法院首席法官?gòu)埮e能、財(cái)政司司長(zhǎng)陳茂波、律政司司長(zhǎng)鄭若驊、立法會(huì)主席梁君彥、行政會(huì)議非官守議員召集人陳智思等前往車站迎接。

中央政府駐香港聯(lián)絡(luò)辦公室主任駱惠寧，中央政府駐香港維護(hù)國(guó)家安全公署署長(zhǎng)鄭雁雄，外交部駐香港特派員公署特派員劉光源，中國(guó)人民解放軍駐香港部隊(duì)司令員彭京堂、政委賴如鑫等也到車站迎接。

President Xi arrives in Hong Kong for anniversary celebrations

Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Hong Kong by train on Thursday afternoon.

Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, will attend a meeting celebrating the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland and the inaugural ceremony of the sixth-term government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on July 1.

Xi will also inspect the HKSAR.

Xi and his wife Peng Liyuan were greeted by HKSAR Chief Executive Carrie Lam and her husband Lam Siu-por at the West Kowloon high-speed rail station.
Hundreds of Hong Kong young people and members of the public waved flags and flowers at the welcome ceremony featuring the performance by the Hong Kong Police Band and lion dancing.

Xi congratulated the Hong Kong compatriots and extended his best wishes on the occasion marking the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland.

Xi said he has been all along concerned about and caring for Hong Kong. "My heart and the central government's heart are always with the Hong Kong compatriots."

Over a period of time, Hong Kong had withstood a series of grave tests and overcome a series of risks and challenges. Hong Kong has since emerged stronger and shown great vigor, Xi said.

Facts have proven the great vitality of "one country, two systems," which guarantees Hong Kong's long-term prosperity and stability and ensures the well-being of the Hong Kong compatriots, Xi said.

Xi stressed that as long as "one country, two systems" is upheld unswervingly, Hong Kong will surely have an even brighter future and make new, greater contributions to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Leung Chun-ying and the incoming sixth-term Chief Executive of the HKSAR John Lee also attended the welcome ceremony.
