>China encourages renminbi settlement in new models of foreign trade
央行發(fā)文支持外貿(mào)新業(yè)態(tài)跨境人民幣結(jié)算

China's central bank has ramped up support for renminbi settlement in new forms and models of foreign trade, in order to better serve the real economy and facilitate trade and investment.
中國人民銀行近日印發(fā)相關(guān)通知，進一步發(fā)揮跨境人民幣結(jié)算業(yè)務(wù)服務(wù)實體經(jīng)濟、促進貿(mào)易投資便利化的作用，支持銀行和支付機構(gòu)更好服務(wù)外貿(mào)新業(yè)態(tài)發(fā)展。

Effective July 21, the new policies will provide better financial services for trade companies, guide the healthy development of new trade models, and help stabilize the economy, according to the central bank.
人民銀行相關(guān)人士介紹，通知自2022年7月21日起實施。人民銀行將穩(wěn)步推進相關(guān)政策落地實施，為外貿(mào)新業(yè)態(tài)市場主體提供良好的配套金融服務(wù)，支持和引導外貿(mào)新業(yè)態(tài)新模式健康持續(xù)創(chuàng)新發(fā)展，助力穩(wěn)定宏觀經(jīng)濟大盤。

>Asia's largest passenger railway hub starts operation
亞洲最大鐵路樞紐客站開通運營

The largest passenger railway hub in Asia was put into operation Monday in Beijing as a four-year reconstruction breathes new life into the Chinese capital's oldest railway station.
亞洲第一大鐵路客運樞紐——北京豐臺站6月20日正式開通運營。豐臺火車站是北京最早的火車站，經(jīng)過4年的改擴建，迎來了全新面貌。

It is also the country's first railway station featuring a double-deck structure that serves both high-speed and regular train services. There is also a metro stop under the railway station, enabling convenient transfers.
北京豐臺站還是國內(nèi)首座采用高鐵、普鐵雙層車場重疊設(shè)計的特大型車站，形成了“頂層高鐵、地面普鐵、地下地鐵”的立體交通模式，方便旅客“無縫”換乘城市交通。

The station's operator said it would put 120 trains into service for the preliminary stage.
根據(jù)運行方案，豐臺火車站運營初期安排旅客列車120列。

>Lyricist and songwriter Qiao Yu passes away at 95
著名詞作家喬羽逝世

One of China's most renowned songwriters, Qiao Yu, died in Beijing on Monday. He was 95.
6月20日，著名詞作家喬羽在京逝世，享年95歲。

He wrote over 1,000 songs, some of which are still performed today, gaining popularity among audiences young and old.
他一生中創(chuàng)作了1000多首歌詞，其中許多代表作廣為流傳，影響了幾代中國人。

>Nation sees big biz in biotech, early cancer detection

In a new plan to spur the bioeconomy during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), the National Development and Reform Commission said it is necessary to promote deep integration of advanced technologies such as genetic testing and disease prevention, and to carry out early screening programs for major diseases, including tumors.
國家發(fā)展改革委對外發(fā)布的《“十四五”生物經(jīng)濟發(fā)展規(guī)劃》提出，要推動基因檢測等先進技術(shù)與疾病預防深度融合，開展腫瘤等重大疾病早期篩查。

A report by early detection information provider Zao Dx said 26 financing events were announced last year in China's early cancer detection industry, among which 15 came in at more than 100 million yuan ($14.92 million) each. The combined value of financing reached more than 6.6 billion yuan last year.
早篩網(wǎng)的一份報告稱，2021年中國癌癥早篩行業(yè)宣布了26項融資活動，其中15項融資活動的金額均超過1億元人民幣，2021年融資總額超過66億元。
