>China to establish national park at Qinghai Lake
青海湖國家公園創(chuàng)建申請獲批
China has approved a plan to establish a national park at Qinghai Lake in northwest Qinghai province, local authorities said Tuesday. Gao Jingyu, deputy director of the protection and utilization administration in the Qinghai Lake scenic area, said the administration will strive to complete the Qinghai Lake National Park by 2024.
6月7日,青海湖景區(qū)保護利用管理局副局長高靜宇表示,青海湖國家公園創(chuàng)建申請已正式獲批,將力爭在2024年完成青海湖國家公園設(shè)立工作。
Qinghai Lake, located in the northeastern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, is the country's largest inland saltwater lake, with an area of 4,625.6 square km in 2021.
青海湖位于青藏高原東北部,2021年水體面積達(dá)4625.6平方公里,是我國最大的咸水湖。
It is an important ecological barrier in northern China and a key stopover site for migrant birds.
青海湖是我國北方重要的生態(tài)屏障,是候鳥遷徙途中重要停歇地與中轉(zhuǎn)站。
>Palace Museum reopens
故宮恢復(fù)開放按75%限流
China's Palace Museum, also known as Forbidden City, reopened to the public on Tuesday. Entry will be capped at 75 percent of maximum capacity, and visitors are required to present negative nucleic acid test results within 72 hours, and undergo body temperature and health code checks, according to an official statement.
故宮博物院于6月7日起,按照75%限流要求恢復(fù)開放。根據(jù)故宮博物院發(fā)布的公告,入院觀眾須持有72小時核酸檢測陰性證明,配合測溫和健康寶查驗。
The museum was temporarily closed starting May 12, due to a resurgence of COVID-19 infections in Beijing.

US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo said on Sunday that President Joe Biden has asked his team to look at the option of lifting some tariffs on China that were put into place by former President Donald Trump, to combat the current high inflation.
