China will raise the basic pension payments for retirees in 2022, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security announced Thursday.

26日，人社部、財(cái)政部明確，2022年我國(guó)退休人員基本養(yǎng)老金將上調(diào)。

The average monthly payment for pensioners of enterprises, government agencies and public institutions will be lifted by 4 percent from the 2021 level, said a circular jointly issued by the human resources ministry and the Ministry of Finance.

人社部、財(cái)政部近日印發(fā)《關(guān)于2022年調(diào)整退休人員基本養(yǎng)老金的通知》，明確從2022年1月1日起，為2021年底前已按規(guī)定辦理退休手續(xù)并按月領(lǐng)取基本養(yǎng)老金的企業(yè)和機(jī)關(guān)事業(yè)單位退休人員提高基本養(yǎng)老金水平，總體調(diào)整水平為2021年退休人員月人均基本養(yǎng)老金的4%。

According to the notice, governments at all levels are required to come up with practical ways to adjust the pension amounts and disburse the additional funds to retirees as soon as possible.

通知要求各地結(jié)合本地區(qū)實(shí)際，制定具體實(shí)施方案，把各項(xiàng)調(diào)整政策落實(shí)到位。要切實(shí)采取措施確?；攫B(yǎng)老金按時(shí)足額發(fā)放。

Last year, China raised the basic pension payments for retirees by 4.5 percent from the previous year's level.

2021年，退休人員基本養(yǎng)老金增幅為4.5%。
