>China makes headway in IP industry
我國知識產(chǎn)權(quán)創(chuàng)造量質(zhì)齊升

The quality and quantity of Chinese intellectual property continued to rise in 2021, with 696,000 invention patents authorized throughout the year, a senior official said. China's intellectual property industry has developed rapidly over the past five years. Shen Changyu, head of the National Intellectual Property Administration, said at a news conference on Sunday that last year, the number of authorized invention patents reached 2.53 million, an average annual growth rate of 13.4 percent over the past five years. The number of registered trademarks hit 27.7 million, an average annual growth rate of 29 percent over the same period.
4月24日舉行的新聞發(fā)布會上，國家知識產(chǎn)權(quán)局局長申長雨介紹，過去五年里我國知識產(chǎn)權(quán)事業(yè)不斷發(fā)展，五年來累計授權(quán)發(fā)明專利約253萬件，年均增長13.4%；累計注冊商標(biāo)約2770萬件，年均增長29%。2021年，我國知識產(chǎn)權(quán)創(chuàng)造量質(zhì)齊升。全年共授權(quán)發(fā)明專利69.6萬件。

The number of high-value invention patents reached 7.5 per 10,000 people in 2021, up from 6.3 in 2020.
截至2021年底，國內(nèi)(不含港澳臺)每萬人口高價值發(fā)明專利擁有量達(dá)到7.5件，較上年提高1.2件。

>Canton Fair sees new records
廣交會閉幕創(chuàng)多個歷史新高

Despite offline campaigns being suspended due to the latest COVID-19 resurgence, the time-honored China Import and Export Fair concluded its 131st biannual session on Sunday in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou with many new records. The 10-day event, also known as the Canton Fair, attracted a record-high of over 25,000 domestic and overseas exhibitors, with over 2.9 million exhibits displayed online.
4月24日，第131屆廣交會圓滿落幕。雖受新冠疫情影響很多線下活動被迫按下“暫停鍵”，但為期十天的第131屆廣交會仍創(chuàng)下多個歷史新高。本屆廣交會逾2.5萬家境內(nèi)外企業(yè)云上參展，展品超290萬件，創(chuàng)歷史新高。

Over 30 percent of the exhibits made their debut, while over 480,000 exhibits featured green and low carbon.
展品中超過30%為新品、綠色低碳展品超48萬件。

Among domestic exhibitors in this session of the Canton Fair, 18,400 enterprises were engaged in exports in the first quarter of the year, with a total export value of over 440 billion yuan, up 6.8 percent year on year, according to the latest statistics from Guangzhou Customs.
海關(guān)統(tǒng)計數(shù)據(jù)顯示，本屆參展企業(yè)有出口實績的企業(yè)超1.84萬家，一季度出口總額逾4400億人民幣，比去年同期增長6.8%。

>China to pilot domestic, foreign trade integration in selected regions
商務(wù)部：擇優(yōu)擇地開展內(nèi)外貿(mào)一體化試點

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) on Thursday said that it will work with related agencies to carry out pilot programs for the integrated development of domestic and foreign trade in selected regions.
商務(wù)部4月21日表示，將會同有關(guān)部門擇優(yōu)選擇部分地區(qū)開展內(nèi)外貿(mào)一體化試點。

The move is aimed at clearing institutional obstacles to the integration of domestic and foreign trade, helping market players make full use of the two markets and realizing the efficient operation of domestic and foreign trade, MOC spokesperson Gao Feng said during an online news briefing.
商務(wù)部新聞發(fā)言人高峰在線上新聞發(fā)布會上說，此舉旨在破除內(nèi)外貿(mào)一體化制度性障礙，幫助市場主體充分利用國內(nèi)國際兩個市場兩種資源，實現(xiàn)內(nèi)外貿(mào)的高效運行。

Specific tasks include pushing the alignment of rules, giving full play to the roles of free trade pilot zones and free trade ports, enhancing reforms and innovation, and promoting the effective connection of domestic and foreign trade rules.
具體任務(wù)包括推動規(guī)則對接，充分發(fā)揮自貿(mào)試驗區(qū)、自由貿(mào)易港的示范引領(lǐng)作用，加大改革創(chuàng)新力度，促進(jìn)內(nèi)外貿(mào)規(guī)則有效銜接。

The regions will actively convert domestic and international standards, and improve the mutual recognition level for inspection, quarantine, certification and accreditation, according to MOC.
據(jù)商務(wù)部介紹，這些地區(qū)將會積極開展國內(nèi)國際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)轉(zhuǎn)化，提升檢驗檢疫、認(rèn)證認(rèn)可互認(rèn)水平。

>Macron wins French presidential runoff
馬克龍贏得法國總統(tǒng)選舉獲連任

France's President Emmanuel Macron beat his far-right rival, Marine Le Pen, in the second-round runoff on Sunday and won another five-year term in office.
當(dāng)?shù)貢r間4月24日舉行的法國總統(tǒng)選舉第二輪投票中，現(xiàn)任法國總統(tǒng)馬克龍擊敗極右翼政黨“國民聯(lián)盟”候選人瑪麗娜?勒龐，成功連任。

Macron won 58.8 percent of the votes, compared with 41.2 percent by Le Pen, according to an estimate from the Ipsos polling institute after most polling stations closed at 7 pm local time; those in large cities, such as Paris, closed at 8 pm.
當(dāng)?shù)貢r間4月24日19點，法國大多數(shù)投票站關(guān)閉，巴黎等一些大城市的投票站一小時后也關(guān)閉，主要民調(diào)機構(gòu)Ipsos發(fā)布的出口民調(diào)結(jié)果顯示，馬克龍的得票率約為58.8%，勒龐的得票率約為41.2%。

The 44-year-old Macron has, therefore, become the first president of France to win re-election since Jacques Chirac in 2002.
