民航局開展行業(yè)安全大檢查
China's civil aviation regulator on Tuesday urged the immediate launch of a two-week-long safety overhaul of the civil aviation sector after a passenger plane crashed in China the day before. In addition to previous safety supervision and guidance, the safety overhaul aims to further strengthen the investigation of hidden dangers in the civil aviation sector to ensure the absolute safety of aviation operations and people's lives, the Civil Aviation Administration of China said in a circular.
民航局3月22日下發(fā)通知,要求在前期行業(yè)安全督導(dǎo)工作的基礎(chǔ)上,立即開展為期2周的行業(yè)安全大檢查,旨在加強(qiáng)民用航空領(lǐng)域安全隱患排查,確保航空運(yùn)行絕對安全,確保人民生命絕對安全。
The overhaul covers all regional air-traffic management bureaus, companies involved in civil aviation transport and general aviation, service providers, airport operators and flight training organizations, among other sectors.
此次安全大檢查的范圍包括各地區(qū)空管局、運(yùn)輸(通用)航空公司、服務(wù)保障公司、機(jī)場公司、飛行訓(xùn)練機(jī)構(gòu)等。

The average Chinese person is getting around 90 minutes less sleep a day than 10 years ago, with the duration falling from 8.5 hours in 2012 to just over seven hours last year, according to a report released ahead of World Sleep Day on Monday.

The warning came with the planet warming by as much as 1.2 degrees and climate disasters forcing 30 million to flee their homes. The goal to limit future warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius, highlighted in the Paris Agreement on climate change and driven home at last November's COP26 gathering in Glasgow, is now on "life support" and "in intensive care," the UN chief told the Economist Sustainability Summit.
