China cut about 1.1 trillion yuan in taxes and fees in 2021 amid the country's efforts to bolster economic growth and strengthen market vitality, the top tax authority said on Wednesday. Last year, the country rolled out a slew of preferential policies on deducting and deferring taxes and fees to shore up the industrial economy and support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, Wang Daoshu, deputy head of the State Taxation Administration, said at a press conference. A total of 216.2 billion yuan in tax payments were deferred for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the manufacturing sector last year, Wang said. He added that enterprises in the coal, power and heating industries saw 27.1 billion yuan in tax cuts, rebates and deferrals.
國家稅務(wù)總局副局長王道樹在1月26日舉行的發(fā)布會(huì)上介紹，2021年，黨中央、國務(wù)院圍繞提振工業(yè)經(jīng)濟(jì)運(yùn)行、支持中小微企業(yè)發(fā)展等方面，打出了一套稅費(fèi)優(yōu)惠政策"組合拳"，助力經(jīng)濟(jì)增長，激發(fā)市場主體活力。全年新增減稅降費(fèi)約1.1萬億元，為制造業(yè)中小微企業(yè)辦理緩繳稅費(fèi)2162億元，為煤電和供熱企業(yè)辦理"減、退、緩"稅271億元。

Tax income accounted for 15.1% of the country's gross domestic product in 2021, edging down 0.1 percentage point and 3 percentage points from 2020 and 2015, respectively, indicating that tax burdens on market entities were further eased, Wang said.
全國一般公共預(yù)算收入中的稅收收入占GDP比重為15.1%，比2020年略降0.1個(gè)百分點(diǎn)，比2015年下降3個(gè)百分點(diǎn)，市場主體稅收負(fù)擔(dān)進(jìn)一步減輕。

深圳24條舉措放寬市場準(zhǔn)入

China on Wednesday unveiled an opinion on relaxing market access in the country's southern metropolis Shenzhen, as part of efforts to further promote reform and opening-up of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The opinion, jointly issued by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the Ministry of Commerce, detailed 24 special measures that would ease market access in sectors including the application of advanced technologies and their industrial development, financial investment, medicine and health, education and culture, and transportation.

>China launches new satellite
我國成功發(fā)射L-SAR 01組A星

China launched a Long March-4C rocket to place a new satellite in space Wednesday. The rocket blasted off at 7:44 am from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Northwest China and soon sent the L-SAR 01A satellite into preset orbit.
北京時(shí)間1月26日7時(shí)44分，我國在酒泉衛(wèi)星發(fā)射中心用長征四號(hào)丙運(yùn)載火箭，成功將L-SAR 01組A星(陸地探測一號(hào)01組A星)發(fā)射升空。

The satellite will be used to monitor the geological environment, landslides and earthquakes.
該衛(wèi)星主要用于對地質(zhì)環(huán)境、山體滑坡、地震災(zāi)害等進(jìn)行有效監(jiān)測。

The mission marked the 407th flight of the Long March carrier rockets, said the launch center.
此次任務(wù)是長征系列運(yùn)載火箭的第407次飛行。

The L-SAR satellite project will help reduce China's dependence on foreign data in fields such as geology, earthquake monitoring and emergency support, said the administration.
國家航天局稱，該衛(wèi)星工程將顯著降低地質(zhì)、地震、應(yīng)急等行業(yè)對國外數(shù)據(jù)的依賴。

The L-SAR 01B is scheduled to be launched at the end of February.

More than 10 million children in the US have tested positive for COVID-19 since the onset of the pandemic, according to the latest report from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Children's Hospital Association.
