Retail sales of consumer goods went up 3.9% year on year in November, while value-added industrial output increased 3.8% last month, data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed on Wednesday.
國家統(tǒng)計(jì)局12月15日發(fā)布的數(shù)據(jù)顯示,11月份,社會(huì)消費(fèi)品零售總額同比增長3.9%,規(guī)模以上工業(yè)增加值同比增長3.8%.

Fixed-asset investment went up 5.2% year on year in the first 11 months of the year.
1-11月份,全國固定資產(chǎn)投資(不含農(nóng)戶)同比增長5.2%.

The country's surveyed urban unemployment rate stood at 5% in November, 0.2 percentage points lower than the same period last year.
11月份,全國城鎮(zhèn)調(diào)查失業(yè)率為5.0%,比上年同期下降0.2個(gè)百分點(diǎn).

"The growth resilience has been continuously enhanced, and the economic operation is generally stable," NBS said in a statement.
國家統(tǒng)計(jì)局在公告中表示,我國國民經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展韌性不斷增強(qiáng),經(jīng)濟(jì)運(yùn)行總體穩(wěn)定.

"Despite multiple pressures, the fundamentals of China's long-term economic development stood unchanged," said NBS spokesperson Fu Linghui at a press conference.
國家統(tǒng)計(jì)局新聞發(fā)言人付凌暉在發(fā)布會(huì)上說:"盡管面臨多重壓力,但是要看到,我國長期向好的基本面沒有變."

As macro policy adjustment intensifies, policies to ensure supply and price stability take effect and measures to expand domestic demand gain momentum, expectations from firms will remain generally stable, Fu said.

China will grant zero-tariff treatment on 98% of taxable items originating in the least-developed countries, according to a statement released by the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council on Wednesday.
國務(wù)院關(guān)稅稅則委員會(huì)12月15日對外發(fā)布公告,對原產(chǎn)于最不發(fā)達(dá)國家98%的稅目產(chǎn)品,適用稅率為零的特惠稅率.

Agricultural products such as peanut oil and chemicals such as polythene will be incorporated into the scope of zero-tariff treatment. The move will help to further facilitate China's imports from African countries, and advance the building of a high-level China-Africa community with a shared future, and share market opportunities with the least-developed countries, the commission said.
此次調(diào)整,將花生油等農(nóng)產(chǎn)品,聚乙烯等化工品納入零關(guān)稅待遇范圍,將促進(jìn)我國自非洲進(jìn)口,推動(dòng)構(gòu)建高水平中非命運(yùn)共同體,進(jìn)一步同最不發(fā)達(dá)國家共享市場機(jī)遇.

The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics will take place between Feb 4 and 20, followed by the Winter Paralympics from March 4 to 13.

The kanji for "金" (kin) was named the single most representative kanji character corresponding to the social mood in Japan this year, by the Japan Kanji Aptitude Testing Foundation on Monday.

The Kyoto-based organization said that "kin" was a fitting choice for 2021 because of the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, where Japanese Olympic team saw their best results ever.
