國家郵政局快遞大數(shù)據(jù)平臺12月8日實(shí)時(shí)監(jiān)測數(shù)據(jù)顯示，我國快遞年業(yè)務(wù)量首次突破千億件大關(guān)。

China's courier sector this year set a new record by handling more than 100 billion parcels as of Wednesday, ranking top in the world for the eighth consecutive year, the State Post Bureau said.
國家郵政局表示，截至12月8日，我國快遞業(yè)務(wù)量突破1000億件，創(chuàng)歷史新高，已連續(xù)8年穩(wěn)居世界第一。

【詞匯講解】

這里的courier指“a person or company that takes messages, letters, or parcels from one person or place to another”，即“快遞員，信使，郵差；（郵遞）快遞公司”，比如：A courier just left a package for you on the porch.（快遞員剛把一個包裹放在你門口了）。在表示“快遞員”的時(shí)候，courier與deliveryman可以互相替換使用。此外，courier也可以用作動詞，表示“發(fā)快遞，郵寄，遞送”，比如：I'll courier the relevant documents to you this afternoon.（我今天下午把文件快遞給你）。

The sector contributed to the record-setting sales volume of online retail, farm products and cross-border e-commerce, along with industrial output.
快遞支撐實(shí)物商品網(wǎng)上零售額、農(nóng)產(chǎn)品銷售額、制造業(yè)產(chǎn)值和跨境電商銷售額再創(chuàng)新高。

Courier services have reached almost all townships in China and are rapidly extending to villages, adding over 200,000 jobs each year.
快遞網(wǎng)點(diǎn)基本實(shí)現(xiàn)鄉(xiāng)鎮(zhèn)全覆蓋，服務(wù)網(wǎng)絡(luò)加速向村一級延伸，年新增就業(yè)保持在20萬人以上。

今年1000億件的快遞業(yè)務(wù)更多承載著農(nóng)產(chǎn)品上行、工業(yè)品下鄉(xiāng)的使命。

Deliveries to and from rural areas expanded in 2021, reflecting the sector's growing role in facilitating economic circulation and rural vitalization. Every day, around 100 million parcels are sent to rural areas, as agricultural products are shipped out to urban households.
現(xiàn)在全網(wǎng)每天有1億件包裹送到農(nóng)村，同時(shí)農(nóng)特產(chǎn)品源源不斷地出村進(jìn)城，更加凸顯快遞業(yè)在暢通經(jīng)濟(jì)循環(huán)、助力鄉(xiāng)村振興方面的作用。
