Xi said China and the United States should respect each other, coexist in peace and pursue win-win cooperation.

Xi pointed out both China and the US are at critical stages of development, and the "global village" of humanity faces multiple challenges.

>Beijing 2022 unveils menu for athletes
北京冬奧會運動員菜單發(fā)布

Organizers of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games have released a menu of 678 dishes that will be served during the Games to athletes from diverse cultural backgrounds.
北京2022年冬奧組委近日發(fā)布運動員菜單，共678道特色菜品。

The menu, approved by the International Olympic Committee, was designed to meet the different dietary needs of athletes while also taking religious diversity into consideration, organizers said.
北京冬奧組委表示，菜單制定充分考慮不同口味、不同文化背景、不同宗教的運動員的特定需求，已獲國際奧委會審核同意。

Those 678 dishes will be provided in turns, and around 200 dishes will be available for athletes each day in the three competition zones of Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou.
在北京、延慶、張家口三個冬奧村，每天約200道特色菜品供各國運動員食用，并定期進行輪換。

The 2022 Winter Olympics coincides with China's Spring Festival, and food from different regions of China will enable global athletes to fully experience Chinese cuisine.

>Authorities urged to root out academic tutoring
教育部印發(fā)學科類培訓鑒別指南

The Ministry of Education has asked local education authorities to differentiate academic tutoring companies from non-academic ones to prevent institutions from conducting curriculum-based training under the guise of non-academic tutoring.
教育部11月15日印發(fā)《義務教育階段校外培訓項目分類鑒別指南》，指導各地加強學科類校外培訓項目鑒別工作，防范校外培訓機構假借非學科類培訓項目實際開展學科類培訓服務等問題。

The differentiation should be based on the purpose, content and evaluation method of the tutoring, the ministry said in a guideline issued on Monday.
指南明確，要從培訓目的、培訓內容、評價方式等維度對培訓項目進行綜合考量。

Tutoring companies that aim to improve students' academic knowledge and grades, teach academic subjects or evaluate students based on their exam results should be classified as academic ones, it said.
培訓目的主要為提升學科學習成績服務、培訓內容主要涉及學科學習內容、以學生學習成績、考試結果等作為主要評價依據(jù)的，將判定為學科類培訓。

Local education authorities should organize expert teams not involved in the tutoring companies to distinguish between them, the ministry said.
各地要組建專家組得出鑒別意見，且相關人員未在培訓機構中任職或兼職。

Tutoring companies should conduct self-examination and evaluation and not try to hide behind new identities to avoid regulation, it added.
培訓機構要進行自我研判、自評自查，不得隱形變異違規(guī)開展學科類培訓活動。

>China's employment stable
城鎮(zhèn)新增就業(yè)目標完成

China has created 11.33 million new jobs in its urban areas during the first 10 months of this year, achieving the target for the whole year in advance. China's surveyed urban unemployment rate stood at 4.9% in October, 0.4 percentage points lower than the same period last year, data from the National Bureau of Statistics show.
國家統(tǒng)計局最新數(shù)據(jù)顯示，1至10月份，全國城鎮(zhèn)新增就業(yè)1133萬人，提前完成全年目標任務。10月份，全國城鎮(zhèn)調查失業(yè)率為4.9%，低于去年同期0.4個百分點。

From January to October, the country's surveyed urban unemployment rate averaged 5.1%, NBS spokesperson Fu Linghui said on Monday.
國家統(tǒng)計局新聞發(fā)言人付凌暉11月15日表示，1至10月份，全國城鎮(zhèn)調查失業(yè)率平均為5.1%。

"The surveyed unemployment rate among those aged between 16 and 24 has dropped for three consecutive months, showing that the employment situation of young people is gradually improving," Fu said, adding the main reason is a gradual increase in the employment of college students.

The rate among those aged between 25 and 59, the majority of the labor market, stood at 4.2% in October, the same level as in September. China's State Council has released a plan this year on boosting employment for the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), vowing to add over 55 million new urban jobs in the next five years.
