國(guó)務(wù)院新聞辦公室10月27日發(fā)表《中國(guó)應(yīng)對(duì)氣候變化的政策與行動(dòng)》白皮書。白皮書介紹了中國(guó)應(yīng)對(duì)氣候變化的進(jìn)展，并與國(guó)際社會(huì)分享了中國(guó)應(yīng)對(duì)氣候變化的實(shí)踐和經(jīng)驗(yàn)。
China released a white paper on Oct 27 to document the country's progress in mitigating climate change, and to share its experience and approaches with the rest of the international community. The white paper, titled "Responding to Climate Change: China's Policies and Actions," was released by the State Council Information Office.

氣候變化是全人類的共同挑戰(zhàn)。應(yīng)對(duì)氣候變化，事關(guān)中華民族永續(xù)發(fā)展，關(guān)乎人類前途命運(yùn)。中國(guó)高度重視應(yīng)對(duì)氣候變化。作為世界上最大的發(fā)展中國(guó)家，中國(guó)克服自身經(jīng)濟(jì)、社會(huì)等方面困難，實(shí)施一系列應(yīng)對(duì)氣候變化戰(zhàn)略、措施和行動(dòng)，參與全球氣候治理，應(yīng)對(duì)氣候變化取得了積極成效。
中共十八大以來，在習(xí)近平生態(tài)文明思想指引下，中國(guó)貫徹新發(fā)展理念，將應(yīng)對(duì)氣候變化擺在國(guó)家治理更加突出的位置，不斷提高碳排放強(qiáng)度削減幅度，不斷強(qiáng)化自主貢獻(xiàn)目標(biāo)，以最大努力提高應(yīng)對(duì)氣候變化力度，推動(dòng)經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)發(fā)展全面綠色轉(zhuǎn)型，建設(shè)人與自然和諧共生的現(xiàn)代化。2020年9月22日，中國(guó)國(guó)家主席習(xí)近平在第七十五屆聯(lián)合國(guó)大會(huì)一般性辯論上鄭重宣示：中國(guó)將提高國(guó)家自主貢獻(xiàn)力度，采取更加有力的政策和措施，二氧化碳排放力爭(zhēng)于2030年前達(dá)到峰值，努力爭(zhēng)取2060年前實(shí)現(xiàn)碳中和。中國(guó)正在為實(shí)現(xiàn)這一目標(biāo)而付諸行動(dòng)。

良好生態(tài)環(huán)境既是自然財(cái)富，也是經(jīng)濟(jì)財(cái)富，關(guān)系經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)發(fā)展?jié)摿秃髣?。我們要加快形成綠色發(fā)展方式，促進(jìn)經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展和環(huán)境保護(hù)雙贏，構(gòu)建經(jīng)濟(jì)與環(huán)境協(xié)同共進(jìn)的地球家園。
A sound ecology and environment is not just a natural asset, but also an economic asset, and it affects the potential and momentum of economic and social development. We need to speed up efforts to foster a green way of development and secure a win-win of economic growth and environmental protection, so as to build a homeland of coordinated advancement of economy and the environment.

“眾力并，則萬鈞不足舉也。”氣候變化帶給人類的挑戰(zhàn)是現(xiàn)實(shí)的、嚴(yán)峻的、長(zhǎng)遠(yuǎn)的。但是，我堅(jiān)信，只要心往一處想、勁往一處使，同舟共濟(jì)、守望相助，人類必將能夠應(yīng)對(duì)好全球氣候環(huán)境挑戰(zhàn)，把一個(gè)清潔美麗的世界留給子孫后代。
As we say in China, “When people pull together, nothing is too heavy to be lifted.” Climate change poses pressing, formidable and long-term challenges to us all. Yet I am confident that as long as we unite in our purposes and efforts and work together with solidarity and mutual assistance, we will rise above the global climate and environment challenges and leave a clean and beautiful world to future generations.
