中央人才工作會(huì)議9月27日至28日在北京召開。中共中央總書記、國(guó)家主席、中央軍委主席習(xí)近平出席會(huì)議并發(fā)表重要講話，強(qiáng)調(diào)要堅(jiān)持黨管人才，深入實(shí)施新時(shí)代人才強(qiáng)國(guó)戰(zhàn)略，加快建設(shè)世界重要人才中心和創(chuàng)新高地。
President Xi Jinping has stressed efforts to implement the strategy on developing a quality workforce in the new era and to accelerate the work to build China into a major world center of professional talent and innovation. Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks when speaking at a central conference on talent-related work, which was held on Sept 27 and Sept 28. Xi underlined the CPC's leadership over talent management.

在百年奮斗歷程中，我們黨始終重視培養(yǎng)人才、團(tuán)結(jié)人才、引領(lǐng)人才、成就人才，團(tuán)結(jié)和支持各方面人才為黨和人民事業(yè)建功立業(yè)。當(dāng)前，我國(guó)進(jìn)入了全面建設(shè)社會(huì)主義現(xiàn)代化國(guó)家、向第二個(gè)百年奮斗目標(biāo)進(jìn)軍的新征程，我們比歷史上任何時(shí)期都更加接近實(shí)現(xiàn)中華民族偉大復(fù)興的宏偉目標(biāo)，也比歷史上任何時(shí)期都更加渴求人才。
在這次會(huì)議上，習(xí)近平總書記以“八個(gè)堅(jiān)持”，首次系統(tǒng)概括提出了新時(shí)代人才工作的新理念新戰(zhàn)略新舉措。一是堅(jiān)持黨對(duì)人才工作的全面領(lǐng)導(dǎo)，二是堅(jiān)持人才引領(lǐng)發(fā)展的戰(zhàn)略地位，三是堅(jiān)持面向世界科技前沿、面向經(jīng)濟(jì)主戰(zhàn)場(chǎng)、面向國(guó)家重大需求、面向人民生命健康，四是堅(jiān)持全方位培養(yǎng)用好人才，五是堅(jiān)持深化人才發(fā)展體制機(jī)制改革，六是堅(jiān)持聚天下英才而用之，七是堅(jiān)持營(yíng)造識(shí)才愛才敬才用才的環(huán)境，八是堅(jiān)持弘揚(yáng)科學(xué)家精神。

【重要講話】
國(guó)家發(fā)展靠人才，民族振興靠人才。我們必須增強(qiáng)憂患意識(shí)，更加重視人才自主培養(yǎng)，加快建立人才資源競(jìng)爭(zhēng)優(yōu)勢(shì)。
As the country's development and national rejuvenation depend on a quality workforce, China should demonstrate stronger vigilance and pay greater attention to fostering people with talent through its own efforts and sharpening its competitive edge in human resources.
