China has released a guideline on deepening the reform of the country's ecological compensation mechanism. The guideline, jointly released by the general offices of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council, details measures for the country to realize long-term ecological compensation goals set for 2025 and 2035.
中共中央辦公廳、國(guó)務(wù)院辦公廳印發(fā)了《關(guān)于深化生態(tài)保護(hù)補(bǔ)償制度改革的意見》。意見明確了為實(shí)現(xiàn)2025年和2035年生態(tài)保護(hù)補(bǔ)償長(zhǎng)期目標(biāo)的一系列具體舉措。

By 2025, an ecological compensation mechanism that is aligned with economic and social development should be basically built up.
到2025年，與經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)發(fā)展?fàn)顩r相適應(yīng)的生態(tài)保護(hù)補(bǔ)償制度基本完備。

The classified compensation system targets ecological elements such as rivers, natural forests and wetlands, and the comprehensive compensation system that features fiscal support will be improved.
健全以河流、天然林、濕地等生態(tài)環(huán)境要素為實(shí)施對(duì)象的分類補(bǔ)償制度。健全綜合補(bǔ)償制度，堅(jiān)持生態(tài)保護(hù)補(bǔ)償力度與財(cái)政能力相匹配。

In the meantime, a market-oriented and diversified compensation pattern will be formed with all society more actively participating in ecological protection.

By 2035, the country will form an ecological compensation mechanism that meets the requirements of ecological civilization in the new era, according to the document.
