中共中央總書記、國家主席、中央軍委主席習(xí)近平近日給“高原戍邊模范營”全體官兵回信。習(xí)近平在回信中表示，希望同志們忠誠履行好衛(wèi)國戍邊職責(zé)，努力為黨和人民再立新功。
President Xi Jinping has urged border troops to guard the country's borders well and make new contributions to the Party and the people. Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks in his reply letter to a model battalion of the People's Liberation Army stationed in the plateau region.

“高原戍邊模范營”是一支有著優(yōu)良傳統(tǒng)的英雄部隊。該營駐地平均海拔4800多米，最低氣溫零下40℃，每年8級以上大風(fēng)200多天。長期以來，部隊官兵扎根雪域高原，忠實(shí)履職盡責(zé)，先后9次獲得全國全軍表彰、5次被授予榮譽(yù)稱號，涌現(xiàn)出5名一等功臣、44名二等功臣等一大批先進(jìn)集體和個人。2016年8月，習(xí)近平簽署中央軍委命令，授予該營“高原戍邊模范營”榮譽(yù)稱號。
