>FAI up 10.3% in Jan-July
1-7月全國固定資產投資增10.3%

China's fixed-asset investment (FAI) went up 10.3% year-on-year in the first seven months of this year, data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed Monday. During the January-July period, FAI amounted to 30.25 trillion yuan.
國家統(tǒng)計局8月16日發(fā)布數(shù)據(jù)顯示，1—7月份，全國固定資產投資(不含農戶)30.25萬億元，同比增長10.3%；

Compared with the 2019 level, FAI growth came in at 8.7% for the period. The average January-July growth rate in the last two years stood at 4.3%.
比2019年1—7月份增長8.7%，兩年平均增長4.3%。

Investment by the private sectors rose 13.4% to 17.35 trillion yuan in the first seven months.
其中，民間固定資產投資17.35萬億元，同比增長13.4%。

On a month-on-month basis, FAI gained 0.18% in July.
從環(huán)比看，7月份固定資產投資(不含農戶)增長0.18%。

FAI includes capital spent on infrastructure, property, machinery and other physical assets.
固定資產投資包括基礎設施、房地產、機械以及其他實物資產投資。

>China urges Japan to reflect on aggression
中方敦促日方反省侵略歷史

China urges Japan to earnestly honor its statements and commitments on facing up to and reflecting on its history of aggression, and act prudently on historical issues including Yasukuni Shrine, a foreign ministry spokesperson said on Sunday.

Spokesperson Hua Chunying's remarks came after Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga sent a monetary offering to the notorious war-linked Yasukuni Shrine, and former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, several cabinet members and some lawmakers paid a visit.

"The Chinese side has lodged solemn representations with the Japanese side through diplomatic channels in both Beijing and Tokyo to voice strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition," she said.
外交部發(fā)言人華春瑩8月15日對此回應稱，中方已通過外交渠道在北京和東京向日方嚴正交涉，表達強烈不滿和堅決反對。

Hua urged Japan to make a clean break with militarism and win the trust of its Asian neighbors and the international community through concrete action.
中方敦促日方切實信守正視反省侵略歷史的表態(tài)和承諾，在靖國神社等歷史問題上謹言慎行，徹底同軍國主義切割，以實際行動取信于亞洲鄰國和國際社會。

The Yasukuni Shrine, where 14 World War II Class-A war criminals are honored, is a spiritual tool and symbol of the Japanese militarism's aggression, Hua said.
華春瑩指出，靖國神社是日本軍國主義發(fā)動對外侵略戰(zhàn)爭的精神工具和象征，供奉著14名二戰(zhàn)甲級戰(zhàn)犯。

"What some Japanese political figures have done on the issue of the Yasukuni Shrine affronts historical justice and seriously hurts the feelings of people in the victimized Asian countries, including China. It again reflects Japan's wrong attitude towards its own history of aggression," she said.
日本一些政要在靖國神社問題上的所作所為，是對歷史正義的褻瀆，也是對包括中國在內亞洲受害國人民感情的嚴重傷害，再次反映出日方對待自身侵略歷史的錯誤態(tài)度。

>Graduates value salary, industry prospects
職場新人最看重薪酬和行業(yè)前景

A good salary and industry prospects are valued when choosing the first job, over half of respondents said in a recent survey.
最新調查顯示，過半受訪者認為，選擇第一份工作時更看重薪酬待遇好和行業(yè)有前景。

The survey published in Thursday's edition of China Youth Daily had polled 1,533 respondents - 30% fresh graduates and over 36% less than two years into work.
調查結果于8月12日發(fā)布在《中國青年報》上。在1533名受訪者中，應屆畢業(yè)生占30%，工作2年以下的占比超過36%。

Other factors influencing their first job choices are job stability (35%), whether the job suits one's interests (29.2%) and whether the position requires working overtime (13.1%).
在選擇第一份工作時，受訪者更看重的其他還有：工作有穩(wěn)定性(35%)、符合興趣愛好(29.2%)和工作有無加班(13.1%)等。

As for what is expected from their first job, 66% believe it is the experience of dealing with business affairs and people. Long-term career development planning (58.3%) and industry skills (55.3%) are also among the things respondents wanted most from their first job.
最想通過第一份工作獲得什么？66%的受訪者選擇了職場的處事經驗，58.3%的受訪者選擇了長遠的職業(yè)發(fā)展規(guī)劃，55.3%的受訪者選擇了行業(yè)的專項技能。

>Taliban controls capital Kabul
阿富汗塔利班進入喀布爾

Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani left the country on Sunday night, while Taliban forces entered the capital of Kabul and took control of the presidential palace.
8月15日晚，阿富汗總統(tǒng)加尼離開阿富汗，塔利班武裝人員已進入首都喀布爾，并控制了阿富汗總統(tǒng)府。

Ghani confirmed on his Facebook page late on Sunday he has left the country, saying the move was intended to prevent bloodshed and that the Taliban is now responsible for protecting the honor and wealth of the Afghan people.
