All 31 provincial-level regions in the Chinese mainland have urged citizens not to go to medium and high-risk areas for COVID-19 or leave the provinces where they live unless it is necessary.
全國31個省(自治區(qū)、直轄市)發(fā)布出行提醒：非必要不前往中高風(fēng)險地區(qū)；非必要不出省不離市。

Beijing has suspended train service to the capital from 23 cities. The cities include Zhengzhou, Nanjing, Yangzhou, Shenyang, Dalian, Xiamen, Changsha and Zhangjiajie, all of which have reported COVID-19 cases in recent days.

China will further promote sports and exercise among its people in the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) period, according to a circular issued by the State Council.
國務(wù)院日前印發(fā)《全民健身計劃(2021－2025年)》，促進(jìn)全民健身更高水平發(fā)展。

The country aims to further improve the public service system for sports and exercise, make it more convenient for people to participate in physical activities, and ignite the public's enthusiasm for sports, the circular noted. According to the circular, China will have 38.5 percent of its population participating regularly in physical activity by 2025.
《計劃》明確，到2025年，全民健身公共服務(wù)體系更加完善，人民群眾體育健身更加便利，健身熱情進(jìn)一步提高，經(jīng)常參加體育鍛煉人數(shù)比例達(dá)到38.5%。

To achieve these goals, the circular listed eight objectives, including stepping up development of public sports venues and facilities, hosting more public sports games and competitions, and advancing high-quality development of the sports industry, among others.
《計劃》提出了8個方面的主要任務(wù)，包括加大全民健身場地設(shè)施供給、廣泛開展全民健身賽事活動、推動體育產(chǎn)業(yè)高質(zhì)量發(fā)展等。

The circular urged local governments above the county level to include the development of public sports and physical exercise in the master plan for the region's social and economic development.
縣級以上地方人民政府應(yīng)將全民健身事業(yè)納入本級經(jīng)濟(jì)社會發(fā)展規(guī)劃。

A total of 143 Chinese companies made it to the 2021 Fortune Global 500 list this year, surpassing runner-up United States for the second consecutive year.

China had more Fortune Global 500 companies than the United States for the first time in 2020, with 133 firms on the list.

The State Grid Corporation of China moved up to the second spot this year, ranking only after US retail giant Walmart.

South Korea has detected its first two cases of the new Delta Plus COVID-19 variant, the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency said on Tuesday, as the country battles with its fourth wave of infections.
8月3日，韓國疾病管理廳通報稱，在該國第四波疫情中首次發(fā)現(xiàn)了兩例感染"德爾塔+"變異毒株的病例。

The Delta Plus variant is a sub-lineage of the Delta variant, and has acquired the spike protein mutation called K417N, which also is found in the Beta variant.
"德爾塔+"是德爾塔變異毒株的變種，"德爾塔+"的刺突蛋白出現(xiàn)了K417N突變，K417N突變也存在于貝塔毒株中。

Reports of Delta Plus cases have been few, and a handful of countries, including Britain, Portugal and India, have reported some cases.

Some scientists have said the Delta Plus variant may be even more transmissible.
