>Highest emergency response urged in extreme weather
極端天氣即時(shí)啟動最高等級響應(yīng)

China's top economic planner called for instantly triggering the highest-level emergency response in the face of extreme weather, seeking stepped up protection for key infrastructure in urban areas. Improvements should be made in emergency plans for dealing with the harshest weather conditions and a quick-response mechanism should be established, according to a circular made public on Monday by the National Development and Reform Commission.
7月26日，國家發(fā)展改革委發(fā)布關(guān)于加強(qiáng)城市重要基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施安全防護(hù)工作的緊急通知。通知指出，一旦出現(xiàn)極端天氣等非常情況，要堅(jiān)決即時(shí)啟動最高等級響應(yīng)。要按照最嚴(yán)酷的極端天氣情況完善應(yīng)急預(yù)案，建立第一時(shí)間響應(yīng)機(jī)制。

The circular urges meteorological departments to strengthen forecasts and early warning of disasters, including heavy rainfall and typhoons, and release information to the public through multiple channels.
氣象部門要加強(qiáng)對強(qiáng)降雨、臺風(fēng)等災(zāi)害預(yù)報(bào)預(yù)警，各相關(guān)部門要充分利用各種渠道和方式向社會發(fā)布預(yù)警避險(xiǎn)信息。

Cities must come up with a detailed list of low-lying areas that are susceptible to flooding, such as tunnels of rail transit systems, roads, railways and underground spaces, before coming up with targeted response measures, the notice said.
對于城市軌道交通、鐵路、公路、市政道路的隧道、涵洞，及公共設(shè)施的地下空間等易積水的低洼區(qū)域，要形成城市易澇類風(fēng)險(xiǎn)隱患清單，并制定針對性防控措施。

China is facing severe floods as heavy rainfall and typhoons ravage many parts of the country, leading to many casualties and economic losses.
近日我國多地遭遇強(qiáng)降雨和臺風(fēng)襲擊，嚴(yán)重洪澇災(zāi)害造成多人死亡，經(jīng)濟(jì)損失巨大。

>China puts forward two lists
中方向美方提出兩份清單

China has put forward two lists to the US during talks with the visiting US deputy secretary of state in Tianjin, one of which is the List of US Wrongdoings that Must Stop and the other is the List of Key Individual Cases that China Has Concerns with, Vice Foreign Minister Xie Feng said on Monday. Xie made the remarks at a press briefing after talks with US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman.
外交部副部長謝鋒7月26日在天津同來訪的美國常務(wù)副國務(wù)卿舍曼舉行會談后告訴媒體，會談中，中方向美方提出兩份清單，一份是要求美方糾正其錯(cuò)誤對華政策和言行的清單，一份是中方關(guān)切的重點(diǎn)個(gè)案清單。

In the first list, China urged the US to unconditionally revoke the visa restrictions over Communist Party of China members and their families, revoke sanctions on Chinese leaders, officials and government agencies, and remove visa restrictions on Chinese students. China also urged the US to stop suppressing Chinese enterprises, stop harassing Chinese students, stop suppressing the Confucius Institutes, revoke the registration of Chinese media outlets as "foreign agents" or "foreign missions", and revoke the extradition request for Meng Wanzhou.
在糾錯(cuò)清單里，中方敦促美方無條件撤銷對中共黨員及家屬的簽證限制，撤銷對中方領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人、官員、政府部門的制裁，取消對中國留學(xué)生的簽證限制，停止打壓中國企業(yè)，停止滋擾中國留學(xué)生，停止打壓孔子學(xué)院，撤銷將中國媒體登記為"外國代理人"或"外國使團(tuán)"，撤銷對孟晚舟的引渡要求，等等。

In another list, China expressed serious concerns to the US on some key individual cases, including some Chinese students' visa applications being rejected, Chinese citizens receiving unfair treatment in the US, Chinese diplomatic and consular missions being harassed and rammed into by perpetrators in the US, growing anti-Asian and anti-China sentiment, and Chinese citizens suffering violent attacks. China urged the US to address those cases as soon as possible and earnestly respect and protect the legitimate interests of Chinese citizens and institutions in the US.
在中方關(guān)切的重點(diǎn)個(gè)案清單里，中方主要就中國部分留學(xué)生赴美簽證遭拒，中國公民在美遭受不公正待遇，美不法分子滋擾、沖撞我駐美使領(lǐng)館，美國國內(nèi)仇亞、反華情緒滋長，中國公民遭暴力襲擊等個(gè)案向美方表達(dá)嚴(yán)重關(guān)切，要求美方盡快解決，切實(shí)尊重、保護(hù)中國公民和機(jī)構(gòu)在美的合法權(quán)益。

>China to set up regional health centers
第二批區(qū)域醫(yī)療中心試點(diǎn)啟動

China will begin establishing another 16 regional health centers in 2021 to provide the public with easier access to quality medical services, according to an official with the National Health Commission Saturday. In addition, the country also will push forward the establishment of national medical centers and national research centers for clinical medicine, said Li Bin, deputy head of the commission, at a conference on the reform on medicine and healthcare system held in Hefei, East China's Anhui province.
7月24日，國家衛(wèi)健委副主任李斌在安徽合肥舉辦的2021全國深化醫(yī)改經(jīng)驗(yàn)推廣會上表示，今年國家將啟動第二批16個(gè)區(qū)域醫(yī)療中心試點(diǎn)建設(shè)，還將繼續(xù)規(guī)劃設(shè)置國家醫(yī)學(xué)中心、臨床醫(yī)學(xué)研究中心等，放大國家級優(yōu)質(zhì)醫(yī)療資源。

The effort is in line with the State Council's requirement to balance the distribution of medical resources and improve the tiered system of diagnosis and treatment, conveyed in a document released in May.
今年5月，國務(wù)院辦公廳印發(fā)通知，要求"促進(jìn)優(yōu)質(zhì)醫(yī)療資源均衡布局，完善分級診療體系"。

The major task of the reform in the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025) is to ensure that patients receive proper medical services without leaving their native provincial-level regions, and that treatment for minor illness can be provided at their doorstep, said Xu Shuqiang, another commission official.
國家衛(wèi)健委官員許樹強(qiáng)說，"十四五"醫(yī)改的主要任務(wù)是落實(shí)落地大病重病在本省(區(qū)市)就能解決，常見病、多發(fā)病在市縣解決，頭疼腦熱在鄉(xiāng)鎮(zhèn)村解決。

Previously, China had already established regional health centers in eight provinces.
此前，我國已在8省份試點(diǎn)建設(shè)國家區(qū)域醫(yī)療中心。

"Next year, regional health centers in China will basically cover all provincial-level regions," Xu added.
"這意味著到明年基本可以實(shí)現(xiàn)區(qū)域醫(yī)療中心全國各省份全覆蓋。"許樹強(qiáng)說。

>ROK to return soldiers' remains
第八批在韓志愿軍烈士遺骸將歸國

China will receive the eighth batch of Chinese soldiers' remains from the Republic of Korea in September, the Chinese Ministry of Veterans Affairs said on Monday.
退役軍人事務(wù)部7月26日發(fā)布消息稱，第八批在韓志愿軍烈士遺骸將于今年9月歸國。

According to a decision made by officials from China and the ROK at a meeting in Beijing on Monday, a ceremony will be held in the ROK on Sept 2 for the handover of the remains.
中韓兩國官員當(dāng)日在北京舉行磋商，根據(jù)雙方達(dá)成的共識，雙方將于9月2日在韓國舉行烈士遺骸的交接儀式。

The two sides also agreed to deepen their cooperation in joint search, excavation and identification of other remains, the Chinese ministry said in a news release.
同時(shí)，雙方表示將進(jìn)一步深化兩國在聯(lián)合搜尋、發(fā)掘、鑒定在韓中國人民志愿軍烈士遺骸領(lǐng)域的合作。

Commanded by Peng Dehuai, a total of 2.9 million Chinese People's Volunteer Army soldiers fought in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea (1950-53), and nearly 200,000 of them died in combat.
1950年至1953年，中國人民志愿軍參加抗美援朝戰(zhàn)爭，彭德懷任司令員，幾年間共290萬余人次入朝作戰(zhàn)，近20萬名中國人民志愿軍將士獻(xiàn)出了寶貴生命。
