China Post said Tuesday it will issue a set of 20 commemorative stamps and a sleeve on July 1 in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
中國郵政6月29日宣布，將于7月1日發(fā)行《中國共產(chǎn)黨成立100周年》紀(jì)念郵票1套20枚，紀(jì)念封1套1枚。

The stamps use two shades of red fluorescent ink, with red and gold as the main tones of the picture. The stamps reveal the extraordinary 100-year journey of the CPC.
紀(jì)念郵票以紅色、金色為畫面主基調(diào)，特別使用兩色紅熒光油墨，展現(xiàn)了中國共產(chǎn)黨百年奮斗的光輝歷程。

The commemorative envelope features images including the Party emblem, Great Wall and a golden inscription of Chinese characters that say, "Staying true to the original aspiration and founding mission of the Party."
紀(jì)念封采用黨徽、長城、"不忘初心 牢記使命"金色字樣等作為表現(xiàn)元素。

>China free of malaria after 70-year fight
世衛(wèi)認(rèn)證中國為無瘧疾國家

The World Health Organization declared China free of malaria on Wednesday, hailing it "a notable feat" for a country that reduced its annual malaria cases from 30 million to zero within 70 years.
6月30日，世衛(wèi)組織宣布中國獲得無瘧疾認(rèn)證。70年間，中國每年報(bào)告瘧疾病例數(shù)從3000萬例降至零，世衛(wèi)稱這是一個(gè)"了不起的成就"。

WHO said China had become the first country in the Western Pacific region to eliminate the mosquito-borne disease in over three decades, after Australia, Singapore and Brunei.
世衛(wèi)稱，中國是30多年來西太平洋地區(qū)第一個(gè)獲得無瘧疾認(rèn)證的國家。這一地區(qū)此前曾獲這一認(rèn)證的國家有澳大利亞、新加坡和文萊。

"Their success was hard-earned and came only after decades of targeted and sustained action," Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director-general of the group, said in a statement. "With this announcement, China joins the growing number of countries that are showing the world that a malaria-free future is a viable goal," he said.
世衛(wèi)組織總干事譚德塞在一份聲明中表示，中國的成功來之不易，是經(jīng)過了幾十年有針對性的持續(xù)行動才取得的。至此，中國加入了越來越多國家的行列，向世界表明無瘧疾的未來是一個(gè)可行的目標(biāo)。

Takeshi Kasai, regional director of the WHO Western Pacific Regional Office, said, "China's tireless effort to achieve this important milestone demonstrates how strong political commitment and strengthening national health systems can result in eliminating a disease that once was a major public health problem."
世衛(wèi)組織西太平洋區(qū)域辦事處區(qū)域主任葛西健表示，中國為實(shí)現(xiàn)這一重要里程碑所做的不懈努力表明，強(qiáng)有力的政治承諾、加強(qiáng)國家衛(wèi)生系統(tǒng)，可以戰(zhàn)勝瘧疾這一重大公共衛(wèi)生問題。

Forty countries and territories have been issued the certificate so far, according to WHO.世衛(wèi)表示，目前全球范圍內(nèi)已有40個(gè)國家和地區(qū)獲得了世衛(wèi)的無瘧疾認(rèn)證。

>Financial-aid hotlines for college students
2021年高校學(xué)生資助熱線開通

China's Ministry of Education has opened hotlines for inquiries on college financial-aid programs, according to an announcement published Tuesday on the ministry website.
教育部網(wǎng)站6月29日發(fā)布消息稱，2021年高校學(xué)生資助熱線電話已開通。

This marks the 17th year in a row that the ministry has opened such hotlines for inquiries and complaints regarding the country's financial-aid policies for college students.
今年是教育部連續(xù)第17年開通高校學(xué)生資助熱線電話，受理高校學(xué)生國家資助政策的咨詢和有關(guān)投訴建議。

In addition to daily operations from 8 am to 8 pm during the summer vacation, as in previous years, this year will see extended hotline operations on work days throughout the year, starting from Sept 16, the ministry said.
今年的熱線電話受理時(shí)間將延長，除在暑期每日8時(shí)-20時(shí)集中受理外，從9月16日起將在每個(gè)工作日常年開通。

Education authorities and universities across the country are also required to open hotlines to provide information on financial aid.
各地教育管理部門以及高校均應(yīng)開通熱線電話提供資助信息。

China has set up a financial-aid system that covers students from financially challenged households at various education stages and schools of different levels and types, according to the ministry.
目前，我國已建立了覆蓋各教育階段、各級各類學(xué)校、所有家庭經(jīng)濟(jì)困難學(xué)生的資助政策體系。

>WB: China's recovery broadens
世行:中國經(jīng)濟(jì)復(fù)蘇范圍擴(kuò)大

China's recovery has broadened as its economic activities have continued to become normalized under the country's effective suppression of COVID-19, the latest report published by the World Bank (WB) said on Tuesday. It forecast China's economic growth will be at 8.5% in 2021.
世界銀行6月29日發(fā)布的最新報(bào)告稱，隨著新冠疫情得到有效控制，經(jīng)濟(jì)活動繼續(xù)正?；?，中國經(jīng)濟(jì)復(fù)蘇范圍繼續(xù)擴(kuò)大，預(yù)計(jì)今年中國經(jīng)濟(jì)增速將達(dá)到8.5%。

Supported by the ongoing labor market recovery and improved consumer confidence, consumption growth in China would gradually return to its pre-epidemic trend, said the WB.
世界銀行稱，中國勞動力市場持續(xù)復(fù)蘇，消費(fèi)者信心不斷改善，預(yù)計(jì)實(shí)際消費(fèi)增速將逐漸重回疫情之前走勢。

On the supply side, China's industrial production growth has stayed above the trend considering its robust manufacturing activities, said the WB.

The WB forecasts that China's trade surplus would gradually decline in 2021, with the current account surplus narrowing to 1.4% of its gross domestic product this year.
