A grand gathering celebrating the centenary of the Communist Party of China was held at Tian'anmen Square at the heart of Beijing on Thursday.

7月1日，慶祝中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨成立100周年大會(huì)在北京天安門廣場(chǎng)隆重舉行。

Aircraft from the People's Liberation Army flew over Tian'anmen Square in echelons. Helicopters flew in the formation of "100," representing the 100 years of the Party. A 100-gun salute was fired. A national flag-raising ceremony was held at Tian'anmen Square.

中國(guó)人民解放軍空中梯隊(duì)飛越天安門廣場(chǎng)上空。直升機(jī)梯隊(duì)在空中組成“100”字樣，象征著中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨的百年華誕。100響禮炮響徹云霄。天安門廣場(chǎng)舉行了全國(guó)矚目的升旗儀式。

A total of 71 military aircraft flew past Tian'anmen Square. As many as 15 J-20 stealth fighter jets took part in the air parade, staging the largest-ever public display of fifth-generation combat aircraft in the world.

共有71架軍機(jī)飛越天安門廣場(chǎng)。多達(dá)15架殲-20隱身戰(zhàn)斗機(jī)參加了飛行慶祝表演，這是第五代戰(zhàn)機(jī)最大規(guī)模的公開亮相。

A congratulatory message jointly issued by eight other political parties, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and personages without party affiliation was read out at the ceremony.

大會(huì)上還宣讀了其他8個(gè)黨派、全國(guó)工商聯(lián)和無(wú)黨派人士的聯(lián)合賀詞。

Representatives of the Chinese Communist Youth League members and Young Pioneers saluted the Communist Party of China and expressed commitment to the Party's cause.

共青團(tuán)員和少先隊(duì)代表向黨致獻(xiàn)詞，對(duì)黨許下誓言。
