You said ‘yikes’ – that normally means you’re shocked or worried about something. Is it my hair?
Neil
Well, ‘yikes!’ is also something we say when we’re surprised, and I was just surprised by your new hairstyle – but in a good way!
Jiaying
Hmm, if you say so. 人們通常用 “yikes” 來(lái)表示驚訝、震驚或者擔(dān)憂(yōu)，就好比我們漢語(yǔ)里的 “哎呀”，是一個(gè)非正式的表達(dá)方式。So, Neil, what has ‘surprised’ you about my hair then?
