China has vowed to improve eye care and test services for children aged zero to 6 to detect eye diseases in their early stages and poor eyesight, and prevent myopia through timely intervention. Local authorities should see that all neighborhood children receive eye care and test services 13 times before the age of 6, according to a guideline from the National Health Commission (NHC) issued on Wednesday.
國家衛(wèi)健委6月23日印發(fā)指南，進一步規(guī)范和加強0～6歲兒童眼保健及視力檢查服務(wù)，目的是早期發(fā)現(xiàn)兒童常見眼病、視力不良，及時轉(zhuǎn)診干預(yù)，預(yù)防近視發(fā)生。各地有關(guān)部門應(yīng)為轄區(qū)內(nèi)0～6歲兒童提供13次眼保健和視力檢查服務(wù)。

These services will be provided by township and community-based or county-level health institutions.
檢查服務(wù)由鄉(xiāng)鎮(zhèn)衛(wèi)生院、社區(qū)衛(wèi)生服務(wù)中心或縣級婦幼保健機構(gòu)等提供。

NHC said the guideline was part of a comprehensive plan for the prevention and control of myopia among children and adolescents.
衛(wèi)健委表示，該指南是為貫徹落實《綜合防控兒童青少年近視實施方案》而制定的細化內(nèi)容。

>China reaps bumper summer grain harvest
夏糧再獲豐收產(chǎn)量創(chuàng)新高

China reaped another bumper summer harvest in 2021, the country's agriculture minister said Wednesday. This has laid a solid foundation for ensuring that the total grain output this year would remain at above 650 billion kilograms, Tang Renjian, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, said during an inspection tour in the city of Sanhe, in North China's Hebei province.
6月23日，農(nóng)業(yè)農(nóng)村部部長唐仁健在河北三河調(diào)研時表示，今年夏糧再獲豐收，為全年糧食產(chǎn)量保持在1.3萬億斤以上打下了堅實基礎(chǔ)。

Despite unfavorable weather conditions, pests and diseases, China's summer grain output reached an all-time high, Tang said. The planting area of wheat harvested this summer reversed a declining streak of four consecutive years, the minister said.
唐仁健說，今年夏糧克服了不良天氣條件、病蟲害等多個關(guān)口，產(chǎn)量創(chuàng)下歷史新高，夏收小麥面積扭轉(zhuǎn)連續(xù)4年下滑勢頭。

Tang attributed the bumper harvest to China's efforts in developing high-standard farmland, adding that the yield per unit area of land also hit a record high.
唐仁健表示，夏糧再獲豐收得益于高標準農(nóng)田建設(shè)，今年夏糧單產(chǎn)也創(chuàng)下了歷史新高。

>'Group buying' sees drug prices drop 56%
藥品集采平均降價56%

Medicines selected through the current round of the Chinese government's new centralized drug-procurement program will be 56% cheaper than normal, on average, for public health facilities that purchase them, according to the National Healthcare Security Administration. The fifth round of the centralized drug-procurement program, which took place in Shanghai on Wednesday, saw 201 companies bidding to provide medicines to public health facilities, including hospitals. Of those companies making bids, 148 were successful on Wednesday, with 251 products being qualified.

The centralized procurement system, launched in 2019, has been hailed by experts as a means of boosting drug accessibility for Chinese patients and reducing their financial burden of treatment.

>Venice may be put on endangered list
威尼斯將面臨生存危機

UNESCO said it would examine a proposal to put Venice on its endangered list if the lagoon city does not issue a permanent ban on cruise ships docking there, according to the Italian news agency Ansa.
據(jù)意大利安莎通訊社報道，聯(lián)合國教科文組織稱其正在審查一項提案，如果威尼斯不永久禁止游輪停靠，就會將這座環(huán)礁湖城列入瀕危名錄。

The United Nations agency said on Monday it will discuss the issue at its plenary session on July 16-31.

If approved, the agency could demand urgent action from the Italian government by next February.
