據(jù)外媒報(bào)道，DC漫畫公司（Detective Comics）將推出新的超級(jí)英雄：猴王子（Monkey Prince），據(jù)稱其形象則來源于美猴王孫悟空。

To celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, DC will debut an all-new hero within its commemorative anthology comic DC Festival of Heroes: The Asian Superhero Celebration. The new anthology hits comic book stores and digital platforms on May 11, and with its release comes the first appearance of Monkey Prince.

The new hero will appear in an original 12-page story "The Monkey Prince Hates Superheroes" written by Gene Luen Yang with art by Bernard Chang.
這一新英雄將出現(xiàn)在12頁的原創(chuàng)故事《猴王子厭惡超級(jí)英雄》之中，由楊謹(jǐn)倫與伯納德·張創(chuàng)作。

在DC官網(wǎng)的介紹中寫道：

Monkey Prince is inspired by the Monkey King, legendary hero of Chinese mythology and the classic tale Journey to the West. In Yang and Chang’s original 12-page story, “The Monkey Prince Hates Superheroes,” Monkey Prince battles and teams up with Shazam to defeat both the evil Dr. Sivana and a Chinese deer demon spirit!
猴王子的靈感來自“美猴王”，后者是中國神話名著《西游記》中的傳奇英雄。在這部新作品中，猴王子將與沙贊對戰(zhàn)，并組團(tuán)擊敗邪惡的希瓦納博士以及“一個(gè)中國的惡魔鹿妖”。

根據(jù)DC官方放出的畫稿，網(wǎng)友推測猴王子故事中將出現(xiàn)一位名叫馬庫斯（Marcus）的少年，以及一個(gè)類似豬八戒的角色，名為八戒師傅（ShiFu Pigsy）。

得到消息的微博網(wǎng)友們已然炸鍋，相關(guān)話題在微博上成為熱搜。

Many Chinese netizens said they only see "Monkey King" as their true hero instead of "Monkey Prince," and expressed their dissatisfaction with the character's "unhandsome" appearance and "stereotyped Asian face." Some complained that DC was "stealing Chinese culture" to earn money in China.
不少網(wǎng)民認(rèn)定只有“美猴王”才是真正的英雄，而非什么“猴王子”。同時(shí)，網(wǎng)友們對于猴王子“不帥氣的外形”和“刻板印象的亞洲臉”也不滿意。另有網(wǎng)友認(rèn)為DC“剽竊中國文化”，又回過頭來掙中國錢。

包括DC和漫威在內(nèi)，外國漫畫、電影行業(yè)不斷引入“中式”角色，不過國內(nèi)觀眾似乎并不買賬。

Hollywood is trying to win the hearts of Chinese moviegoers by playing the nostalgic card of using Chinese legendary figures, but they risk suffering the same poor result as Disney's Mulan if they fail to express Chinese culture, Chinese film experts noted.

"Hollywood still values the Chinese market, but there are differences in cultural integration. In their eyes, the expression of Chinese elements can be mixed while we Chinese do not accept that. That's the reason why we felt uncomfortable, embarrassed and even offended when seeing Mulan including the role's makeup and the scene filmed in tulou," said Shi Wenxue, a film critic based in Beijing.

To seize the hearts of Chinese audiences, there should be respect and understanding of Chinese elements without arbitrarily matching or combining them at will, and they also need to tell a story that conforms to the logic of the characters, Shi suggested.
