President Xi Jinping announced on Thursday that China has scored a "complete victory" in its fight against poverty. Xi, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, said absolute poverty has been eradicated in the world's most populous country. Xi made the announcement while addressing a gathering held in Beijing to mark the country's accomplishments in poverty alleviation and honor its model poverty fighters.
全國脫貧攻堅總結表彰大會于2月25日在北京隆重舉行，中共中央總書記、國家主席、中央軍委主席習近平發(fā)表重要講話。習近平莊嚴宣告，我國脫貧攻堅戰(zhàn)取得全面勝利。
Over the past eight years, the final 98.99 million impoverished rural residents living under the current poverty line have all been lifted out of poverty. All 832 impoverished counties and 128,000 impoverished villages have been removed from the poverty list.
過去八年來，現(xiàn)行標準下9899萬農(nóng)村貧困人口全部脫貧，832個貧困縣全部摘帽，12.8萬個貧困村全部出列，完成了消除絕對貧困的艱巨任務。
Since the launch of reform and opening-up in the late 1970s, 770 million impoverished rural residents have shaken off poverty, when calculated in accordance with China's current poverty line. China has contributed more than 70% to global poverty reduction over the same period. With these achievements, China has created another "miracle" that will "go down in history," Xi said.
自20世紀70年代末實行改革開放以來，我國累計已有7.7億農(nóng)村貧困人口脫貧，對全球減貧事業(yè)的貢獻率超過七成，創(chuàng)造了又一個彪炳史冊的人間奇跡！

國家法律法規(guī)數(shù)據(jù)庫開通
A senior Chinese official on Wednesday highlighted the importance of the construction and application of a national database of laws and regulations to advance the rule of law in China. The database will make legal services more accessible to the general public, said Wang Chen, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, at the launching ceremony for the database.
中共中央政治局委員、全國人大常委會副委員長王晨2月24日在國家法律法規(guī)數(shù)據(jù)庫開通儀式上強調(diào)，要建設好、運用好國家法律法規(guī)數(shù)據(jù)庫，助力法治中國建設，讓法治服務及時方便"飛入尋常百姓家"。
Wang stressed the need to build the database into an authoritative, effective, convenient and smooth platform, urging efforts to make full use of modern information technologies such as big data to improve the quality and efficiency of legislation work.
王晨強調(diào)，建設國家法律法規(guī)數(shù)據(jù)庫要在權威高效、便捷暢通上下功夫，要充分利用大數(shù)據(jù)和現(xiàn)代化信息技術，推動提升立法質(zhì)量和效率。
