中共中央總書記、國家主席、中央軍委主席習近平11月14日在江蘇省南京市主持召開全面推動長江經濟帶發(fā)展座談會并發(fā)表重要講話。他強調，要譜寫生態(tài)優(yōu)先綠色發(fā)展新篇章，打造區(qū)域協調發(fā)展新樣板，構筑高水平對外開放新高地，塑造創(chuàng)新驅動發(fā)展新優(yōu)勢，繪就山水人城和諧相融新畫卷。
President Xi Jinping called for efforts to write a new chapter in prioritizing ecological conservation and boosting green development, create a new model for regional coordinated development, create a new height for high-level opening-up, foster advantages in innovation-led development, and draw a new painting featuring harmony between nature, the people and the cities. Xi, also general secretary of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks on Nov 14 in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, at a symposium he chaired on comprehensively advancing the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.

長江經濟帶覆蓋沿江11省市，橫跨我國東中西三大板塊，人口規(guī)模和經濟總量占據全國“半壁江山”，生態(tài)地位突出，發(fā)展?jié)摿薮?，應該在踐行新發(fā)展理念、構建新發(fā)展格局、推動高質量發(fā)展中發(fā)揮重要作用。

要在嚴格保護生態(tài)環(huán)境的前提下，全面提高資源利用效率，加快推動綠色低碳發(fā)展，努力建設人與自然和諧共生的綠色發(fā)展示范帶。
