It specified measures covering nine areas to promote trade development, including searching for new ways to explore the international market, optimizing the domestic layout of foreign trade, and enhancing the competitiveness of foreign trade firms.

More than 2.51 million people have now signed up for organ donation across China, the Red Cross Society of China said Saturday. More than 30,000 donors completed their donations after death, saving over 90,000 people's lives, the society added.

American drug maker Pfizer and German pharmaceutical company BioNTech announced on Monday data analysis shows their COVID-19 vaccine candidate is more than 90 percent effective in preventing COVID-19 in participants without evidence of prior SARS-CoV-2 infection.
